Dear xxxx,
John Kerry won tonight's debate on foreign policy, and we need you to make sure the media reports this right.
Jump into the post-debate debate and keep the record straight.
America saw John Kerry as our next President tonight. Bush had a record of failure to defend, and he failed to defend it. Bush refused to take responsibility for his go it alone rush to war. Bush had no plan, no clue for ending the chaos. Bush can't fix the mess in Iraq because he pretends things are fine. Pretending is no substitute for planning.
Your assignment: Immediately e-mail and call all the major networks and programs listed below saying that John Kerry won the debate. The Republicans are going to do everything possible to spin the debate in their favor. We need you on the offensive.
Everything you need is in this e-mail, including contact information for the major news networks and programs.
Here are some things to emphasize:
America saw John Kerry as our next President tonight. Kerry showed strength, conviction, and a steady command of the facts.
Kerry left no doubt he can lead the fight to hunt and kill the terrorists.
Kerry offered hope for a fresh start in Iraq so we can finish the job. Kerry has specific plans: Bush had shallow promises.
Here is a phone/e-mail list for the major news networks.
Commentators like Larry King, Chris Matthews, Sean Hannity, and Alan Colmes are on TV right now offering their view of the debate results.
Hosts of network news shows on ABC, CBS, and NBC are also busy offering their reviews.
Hosts of tomorrow's morning shows, Good Morning America, The Today Show, and American Morning, are sure to do the same beginning at 7:00 a.m. EST tomorrow morning. Don't let your voice be cut out.

Forward this e-mail, EXACTLY AS RECEIVED, to all those outlets.
I have been told by the Kerry Campaign that I should email you the following talking points:
America saw John Kerry as our next President tonight.
Kerry showed strength, conviction, and a steady command of the facts.
Kerry left no doubt he can lead the fight to hunt and kill the terrorists.
Kerry offered hope for a fresh start in Iraq so we can finish the job. Kerry has specific plans: Bush had shallow promises.
Thank you. You airing my email will ensure I receive my ketchup packet for today
I got mine! Here is the e-mail I sent out to everyone on their media list:
I am a Democrat from Lima, Ohio and I am a member of the Kerry Debate Response Team (see e-mail below). I was instructed to e-mail you and tell you how great Kerry did in the debates, but unfortunately I feel that it would be dishonest to do so. Kerry looked presidential but his positions are still either poorly explained or totally convoluted. I do not believe there is any way that Kerry can lead the United States in a fight against terrorhow can he possibly tell our soldiers that they need to be willing to fight and diebut that this is the wrong war, wrong place and wrong time? It is embarrassing to support a candidate who has nonsensical positions. The president did not appear as polished and "slick" but the president has clear and understandable positions on all the issues. At best, this debate was a draw. At worst, Kerry will be painted as an indecisive flip-flopper in another embarrassing series of ads. Tonight I am embarrassed by my party and my candidate.

I put a copy of the Kerry Debate Response Team e-mail at the end--so that they KNOW they are being targeted by Kerry surrogates. (Of course I am fully honest--in how I came to write them--and in my response to Kerry). Feel free to use anything here that is useful to anyone.
The dems fixed the online polls early tonight with another missive from the DNC. All links to polls were included. We are now hearing some of the results of these polls from the talking heads.
I know, but lets out their phonyness(is that a word?)
I'm going to printout this email and the previous 'flood the post-debate polls' email and pass it around the office tomorrow. Yeah, the Dems will resort to their usual 'Everybody does it bullcrap', but it will still look slimy and undermine the media in the eyes of those who still might be persuaded.

Here is the question I have:
How can John Kerry ask our troops and our allies to spend blood and treasure in an intervention he calls a 'collosal mistake?'
Nice wording!
I checked out the blog--I like it a lot! Is it yours?
yes it is mine.
Good thinking ;)
I didn't watch much of the spin after the debate but I did hear Howie Fineman say something like Kerry won the debate if you forget everything that he said previously.
I wish I had that on tape.
Very nice--I will be visiting it again. I'm glad so many smart people are out there on the web! (and on our side)
To Whom It May Consern,The DNC sent an email saying I should rite and tell you that Jon Kerri one the deebait. I've inclooded the email so I don't ferget the talking points...hehehe

LOLOL!
Thanks!! I say we make this a counter-FReep when they send out these call to action emails. The media probably know they're being email bombed, but lets make it obvious in case they DO miss it.
