Fox News' "Special Debate Coverage," 10/13/04

FOX NEWS’ SEAN HANNITY: “Why don't you condemn Dennis Kucinich when he says the President’s targeting civilians for assassination? We’re at war and your party has politicized the war, and your party has said false things about the President. Your party has called the President a liar every day. And I think as a leader you ought to say, if you want to change the tone of Washington it's going to start with me.”

DNC CHAIR TERRY MCAULIFFE: “No, no. Let's change George Bush and get this country moving in the right direction.”

HANNITY: “So why don’t you start changing the tone?”

MCAULIFFE: “I could care less about the tone today .”

“No, no. Let's change George Bush and get this country moving in the right direction.”

He misspoke. He meant let's get this country moving in the left direction.

I thought it was great when Sean asked McAuliffe to look into the camera and name one piece of legislation Kerry put through. He could not do it. It was great to watch the slime bag McAuliffe squirm.

MCAULIFFE: “I could care less about the tone today .”

....or yesterday or tomorrow.

This was Bush's one big mistake and he should have used it when asked what mistakes he did make

" I mistakenly thought the democratic party was willing to work with me to make Washington a better place for America"

McAwful is an outdated, cliche, Clinton stooge of yesteryear. He is useless and ineffective. Just another liar and spinner for the liberal bandwagon. It is a good sign that this is ALL they have to offer...but maybe there was METHOD IN SLICK'S MADNESS HERE --- PUTTING STOOGES LIKE MCAWFUL IN TO SINK KERRY'S SHIP...that last comment from McAwful was so far beyond the pale, its makes you wonder...
