Isn`t Alan Colmes starting to look like the Crypt Keeper? Seriously, it`s a rip, but it`s also true. His hairline is really receeding, he`s got the sunken cheeks, the chattery looking teeth... creepy.

Poor ol' Alan. He can just grab a shopping bag and head on out for Trick or Treat.

Of course, why should he buy his own candy, you should give him YOURS.

There was some alarmist talk on another thread yesterday or the day before about Kerry planning to nominate Hillary for the Supreme Court. If that happened with a 'Rat majority in the Senate, she'd probably be confirmed, or if the Republican margin is narrow and a few RINOs back her. But it seems more likely at this point that she still hopes to be President and would defer serving on the Court until later.

Apart from her record of dishonesty, she would be a ludicrous selection on the merits--hardly a person who has established a distinguished record in jurisprudence. Apart from her junior-level work on the impeachment committee in 1974, and her employment by the Rose Law Firm in Arkansas, what legal work has she done?

He was definitely unhinged. He made a total incoherent a$$ of himself. Nixon was impeached for Vietnam? And Hannity doesn't know history, and the tape of Kerry is lying? Nixon was pinched for Watergate, and he resigned. Seems like bully boy needs some history lessons and some Prozac.

I told my father that I use the libs attitude as a real political barometer. The polls are meaningless. When they're smug and condescending, and say crap like, "We'll see you in the White House," they are confident they're doing well. When they get rude, loud, argumentative, and start going off on screaming talking point tangents, it means they're worried. Right now, I'd say they're worried.

" - he started screaming Nixon was the liar for 2 minutes straight."

"It is important to remember that when arguing with liberals, you are always within inches of the "Arab street." Liberals traffic in shouting and demagogy. In a public setting they will work themselves into a dervish-like trance and start incanting inanities: "BUSH LIED, KIDS DIED!" "RACIST!" "FACIST!" "FIRE RUMSFELD!" "HALLIBURTON!"

The above quotation is taken from the book How to Talk to a Liberal (if you must) by Ann Coulter, page 1, paragraph 1.

Ann does not waste time telling you what to expect from liberals when you confront them.

A shameless plug and bump for Ann's latest book.

I was amazed. I think he got confused (or is trying to draw a parallel to Bush) and said that Nixon was impeached for lying about the war. WTF, over? He looked BAD.

That's the point - Nixon was not impeached! He resigned before the articles passed.

Ol' Billy Jeff. Yep, HE was impeached.

Big Mets fan in 1969.

I used to think that Colmes is what is called an "honest liberal."

No more. Not on what I've been seeing in the last few weeks. Colmes has sold his soul.

I agree with you except you speak of "qualifications" demon- rats don`t need no stinkin` qualifications. Jim McGreevey appointed a gay, Israeli, poet to be Homeland Security Director of New Jersey. Those were his qualifications. Now, being gay does not preclude anyone from office. Nor does being a poet. The problem, one of them, shouldn`t the apointee be at least American? He didn`t have clearance to go everywhere he needed to go being an Israeli national. Hillary is a lawyer, she is also a senator who worked in a law office. Sounds more qualified than the other guy doesn`t she?

The House passed 3 articles of impeachment against Nixon in 1974. The transcripts of Nixon's "secret" tapes showed he was lying ("the smoking gun"); his support in Congress evaporated overnight, and he resigned before the House voted on the articles of impeachment.

You are right; he was not impeached. Had he not resigned, the House would have impeached him, and given that he actually did something wrong (unlike Clinton, for instance), the Senate would have convicted him.

Oh, get real, you one-post-wonder. Nixon was an amateur in comparison to Clinton's crooked ways.

Trolling for three years and "nixon would have been impeached" is the best you can do?

I am overfrickenwhelmed by your powers of concentration, observation and a solidly firm grasp of the obvious.

Go play in traffic.
