How would John Kerry perform if his troops turned traitor as he did?
Vanity | 11/17/2004 | Henry Ford

The actions of John Kerry in 1971 have a direct bearing on his possible conduct as President. Only some of the Vienam Vets are making this connection. .

What could John Kerry as Commander-In-Chief say to the following hypothetical:

A company of army rangers in Afghanistan decide that the Taliban were given a raw deal and we should not have invaded. This group even sends emissaries to Pakistan to discuss their wholehearted support of the terrorist agenda. They might even publicly condemn their fellow soldiers of atrocities and their leaders of war crimes. They appear on Arab TV and Radio with a diatribe against our war on terror(while in uniform).

What would Kerry have to say to this group of fifty or so war veterans and heroes?
Demonstrate all you want.
You men are entitled to your own opinions.
You guys are my kinda guys... keep it up -- we could use you in Washington.

Just a thought for one last Swiftvet commercial.

Has anybody ever heard a question like this being posed directly to John Kerry?

Here's another way to pose the question ~ since the Democrats nominated this guy, that means the Democrats still hate the soldiers they called up and sent to Nam as much as they did back in the 1960s.

Anyone who has a Democrat for a friend should let them know personally that they continue to be the scum of the Earth, and that no one should ever let any of them near a cashregister or a scalpel.

A similar question to Mr Kerry would be: How are you going to fulfill the United States need for soldiers when your election triggers massive resignations or failure to re-up among officers, and elistments drop to all time lows?

Hint: Draft

Another question for Kerry:
"Sen. Kerry, why does the military overwhelmingly oppose your election to the Presidency? Since you are a veteran, shouldn't they strongly support your candidacy"?

How would John Kerry perform if his troops turned traitor as he did?

He'd clap 'em on the back and call 'em a "true American hero."

And none would dare call it treason.

This really would be the best question ever posed to Kerry. If he says he would praise them because the act of dissent is praiseworthy, then he has to admit that their protest has merit and that his decision to support the war in Afghanistan was not based on unquestionable reasoning. If he says that he would arrest them for treason (doubtful) or otherwise hold them accountable, he would be condemning himself for his prior actions. I think a slight modification would be to ask about a war he led us into (again doubtful), but it would keep him from saying something like "George Bush has divided this nation so much that it's understandable that these people don't know what's right anymore." I think his answer to that question would provide a real insight into his dichotomy. He loves America and hates America, he supports the soldiers and detests the soldiers, and the church dictates his environmental beliefs but not his abortion beliefs. He can hold these opposing ideas in his head and believe all of them simultaneously. Flip-Flop is an understatment. He is a true practitioner of Orwell's doublethink.

Doublethink: The power of holding two contradictory beliefs in one's mind simultaneously, and accepting both of them.

Indeed. What will John Kerry say when some young man says "how can you ask a man to be the last one to die for a mistake?" This could be especially troublesome considering that John Kerry has already called the war in Iraq a mistake on numerous occasions. What the hell would he do? I would love to hear someone ask him this question.

My nephew, who was in the service (not VietNam, he's too young; he was stationed in Germany) had some thoughts on Kerry's "service" which I thought were good ones. Here it is:

My thoughts on John F. Kerry and Vietnam:

Let us focus on this subject for the moment once again.

When John Kerry was Graduating from Yale, the tempo in Vietnam was picking up and thus the number of monthly draftees was increased. This left John Kerry and many others with limited options as I will lay out:

A) He could wait for his number to be drawn and then find out how and in what branch and capacity he would serve his country. DANGEROUS!

B) Join the Army, but we already knew the Army was fighting in Vietnam proper. DANGEROUS!

C) Join the Marines, even bigger chance of land combat in Vietnam. DANGEROUS!

D) Join the Air Force, if he became a pilot he could be shot down over enemy territory, if not a pilot he could have been stationed at a airbase on Vietnam soil. DANGEROUS!

E) Join the Coast Guard, but the Coast Guard was the smallest service, hard to get into, and they also were patroling the Vietnam waterways. DANGEROUS!

F) Join the National Guard ( Lets leave Bush out of this piece), problem was many National Guard members were either serving or could be called up and sent at a moments notice to Vietnam. DANGEROUS!

G) Join the Navy, unless you were a pilot chances were very good that you would spend your time in the ocean, sounds safe to me. Guess that's why he chose this one?

John Kerry spent the first 2 years of his service patrolling the hostile waters off of the coast of California before his ship was sent to Vietnam. Yes it is TRUE John Kerry did volunteer to move into the swift boats, BUT at the time he made this choice the entire mission of the swift boats was to patrol the coast. Must have been exciting watching people come out to fish. After the swift boats mission changed, and they began prowling the dangerous inland waterways, John Kerry suddenly accumulated 3 Purple Hearts in a very short time which enabled him to finish his service obligation safely stateside. Being a Vet. I have rarely encountered anyone with just 1 Purple heart who does not suffer from some type of disability, mental or physical. For John Kerry to have 3, he seems very fit ( I.E. skiing, windsurfing, parasailing) he even claims to have run the Boston Marathon(unofficially of course since there is no record of this). I could go on but this is enough for this blurb.

I hate...I say HATE how Kerry does that little Buddhist bow thing with his hands together. You see people in Hollywood do this alot. I don't have a problem at all with that if you are from that tradition (Hindus and Buddhist, etc.) but it just seems so pretentious and superficial coming from this guy. He did it at the end of the 3rd debate. It made me cringe.

Make no doubt about it,...socialists when placed into power become meglamaniacal. If faced with the least bit of internal conflict, they will tend to label their juniors as traitors and seek to have them executed.

Unlike those in the Quartermaster Company under investigation today, there would be a stronger liklihood of the junior man being blamed rather than relocated.

Kerry's aristocratic flair indicates he would come down on everybody in the chain of command without any justice, but in an act of vengeance of impropriety of others he might feel upon his arrogance. He's not the kind of leader like Bush who ventures in stealth on a national holiday into harm's way to serve a holiday meal to men many layers beneath him in the chain of command.

Question to John Kerry: "How can you ask someone to be the last man to die for a mistake?"

Someone needs to ask John Kerry this question. Rush, Sean, etc. should start asking this on the radio? How could Kerry possibly lead considering his anti-war history and what he has said about Iraq. What could he possibly say to a soldier who said this to him? He is completely unfit to lead anything except a quick retreat.

IMHO If he were CIC and any soldier did the same things he did.........
He would demand their execution for treason......

Why do I say this.......

Simply because He Is John Kerry. Of the Elite! Disobey Him at your peril!
It is not about the USA. It is all about the Elite John Kerry.
(Anything He says or does is above reproach. His orders shall be enforced.)
