Dan Bartlett On O'Reilly

Posted on 10/29/2004 4:09:01 AM PDT by 7thson

Watching O'Reilly last night while getting ready for bed. I kept it on because he said Newt was going to give a prediction and I like hearing what Newt says. Anyway, BO spoke with Dan Bartlett, White House communications advisor.

My take - either Bartlett is the greatest actor in the history of the nine known galaxies or the internal polling on the Presidents team show a victory. This man was calm, cool, confident, relaxed, collected, smooth. He spoke like he knew it was in the bag. Anywone else see this and if so, did you get that impression.

Newt nailed the missing weapons story dead on. This was a setup by major media organizations to take down the President. He was upset!

NO COMPLACENCY...Vote even if you are in a state that has Kerry by double digits...or Bush by double digits.

Would you have felt better if he was in a panic?
He is paid to be calm, cool and collected. Of course he is worried. We all are.
The fact that sKerry was even considered, much less chosen as a candidate should be enough to scare the hell out of anyone.
The lack of honor and integrity that is prevalent in Democratic Party is apalling, even though the connection is apparent.
From a draft dodger to a traitor.
Who is next?
I would not be surprised to see Arrafat on the ticket next time.

Dan Bartlett always struck me aa a cool, calm, and collected individual. Bush is lucky to have him on his team.

It was more than that. Of course I am going to vote though a lot of good it does me in Maryland! But listening and looking at Bartlett, he did not seem complacent or blaise. And there was no sense of desperation as I see and hear from the Kerry side when they are on the tube. I have seen Bartlett before and this time it was different. I cannot quite put my finger on it. Of course, we all need to get out and vote, and I believe that a lot more people will be voting for Bush than the media or pollsters are aware of.

One thing I do not like seeing though is these early voting results. It just seems to me that the Dems love this because they then see how many "voters" they need to "win," and suddenly these "voters" show up and "vote." Know what I mean.

He also said that they don't have an October surprise. But that the President would get a win the hard way---he's work for it.

I agree. Watched Melnich spar with Lockhart yesterday and Lockhart was fit to be tied, complaining about how the GOP was dishonoring Kerry's service record and otherwise acting victimized. Melnich was cool, logical, and fairly cheerful. I think each man reflects his party's internal polls.

You may be more right than you realize. In 2008, Arafat will appeal to three key Dim constituencies: foreign nationals, terrorists, and dead people.

Sorry, not me. I quit watching O'Who? months ago - when he disrespected the Swift Boat Vets. But thanks for the thread 'cuz I like knowing what Dan has to say!
