TEXT OF KERRY'S CONCESSION SPEECH TO BUSH THIS MORNING
Whitehouse recording | J. F. Kerry

Posted on 11/03/2004 10:47:39 AM PST by Smedley

Hello? Oh hi, John. Yes, you did run an admirable campaign.
What? What? You have a secret plan for Iraq? No ... no
... no, John. Surrender is not an option here, John, but
thanks for calling. Say what? No, John. Tereeeza can't stay
in the Lincoln bedroom for the weekend. Bye, John. Bye. I said
bye. I really have to go, John. Bye, bye!

(cue the Bee Gees)

I'm goin' back to Massachusetts
Couldn't win the White House if I tried
And they still love me back in Massachusetts
Voted for me, through all the times I've lied.

Hey, John!
Thanks for doing what Al Gore wouldn't do...
CONCEDE!

You did the right thing, for once in your life!
You are a flip flopping fool, who marries well - but you are better than GORE!

Please send airplane tickets to Alec Baldwin, Michael Moore, Stuart Smalley, Barbra Streisand, Bruce Springsteen, Bon Jovi, All the Girls on The View.... etc. etc.

Guess JFK was busy on the phone all morning. I posted this on another thread:

[Cheesy French Muzak]...[Click] "Hello? Are you still holding?"...[Snickering in background]

"Yes, I am. When will Mr. Chirac get out of his important meeting?"

[More snickering in background]..."I'm not sure, Monsour.....Skerry, is it? Can I ask what this call is about?

"I need advice on how to surrender gracefully."

"I'm sorry, monsour Karrot, that's confidential proprietary information. We can't give it out to just any loser." [Unrestrained guffaws in BG]

"But I'm not just anyone, I'm a presidential candidate!"

"Ah, I apologize, monsour Kerry! Now I know who you are and I have some information for you."

"Now we're getting somewhere...what can you tell me?"

"I'm afraid it's more bad news. The results are back on your Global Test....YOU FAILED!"

No, the president’s not available, horsey.
No, it’s not me, it’s my secretary.
The president is too busy RUNNING THE NATION to take your stupid call.
Wrong candidate. Wrong time. Wrong nation.
Yeah, I’ll tell me you called, loser.

With all their $$$, can't they afford a nose job for those Kerry Girls?
Holy Hannah! You could hang lights on those things!
You could gain shelter from the rain!
You could park two Hibrids in there!
You could.....
Sorry... I digress.

I really don't know why people are surprised Kerry conceded.

It is, after all, a form of surrender

You know what's really sad? If Kerry had run like his concession speech, he could have won. He's behaving like a real person.

They don't get it.

I thought his concession speech was all over the place like the rest of his campaign speeches. He CANNOT focus and wants to be all things to all people at ALL times! The man is a blithering idiot. AND, it was a bitter speech by a bitter man. He was not sincere in his hope for unity for America. First he said it was needed, he wanted it then he regurgitated the laundry list of grievances he has about our current President and politics. BS!!! Go away Kerrry and take that carnival troupe with you!

"I thought his concession speech was all over the place ..."

Oh yeah, it was self serving. I'm talking about HOW he delivered it. He semmed genuine in a way I have never seen him. Much like W. Kerry always sounded like a parody of himself before.

Just the same: good riddance.
