For those who have seen the new terrific movie "The Incredibles" did you notice that one of the villians looks like John Kerry and speaks French? Am I mistaken?

That's remarkable. Has to be more than a coincidence.

The french speaking villian was called "Bomb Voyage'". I never noticed the Kerry look until you mentioned it.

Great, really fantastic movie. It's hard to believe this came out of Pixar (Steve Jobs appointed Al Gore to the board of Directors), and was produced by Disneyd; who backed (but refused to distribute) Farenheit 911.

I would encourage all Freepers to see this show. It's fun, it's funny, it has a great message on being the best you can be, and presents a great view of how a family should get along together. I will DEFINITELY buy this one on DVD.

And the pre-show is so gosh darn cute/funny, I garrantee that it will bring a smile to the most grumpy adult.

His lawyer also looks like Richard Nixon. Hands down the best damn Pixar movie made. Made by the same guy Brad Bird who made The Iron Giant, another classic!

But does the character have three purple hearts and shrapnel in his a$$?

The Incredibles had a lot of parallels to the War On Terror, in my opinion. The mom tells the kids the enemy they're fighting won't show restraint to hurt children. The enemy is a young angry man whose hair looks like the dome of a mosque. His name is SYNDROME. (Sin?) He puts the good guys in a crucifix-like prison.

Some might think I saw "too much that isn't there" in the film, but I think, at least on a subconcious level, the makers of The Incredibles used imagery and symbols that evoke the current WoT.

And in the end, not to give the movie away too much, the Good Guys win.

That can't be Kerry.

His mouth is shut.

Really?! I automatically presume it'll be a fab flick if it's Pixar (as opposed to Dreamworks, for example) as I find all their movies to be pretty darned brilliant, especially Bugs Life and Monsters, Inc. (Gee, do I have children?)

Look like Pixar is now batting 6-for-6.

I can't wait to see this one. (My kids can't believe we missed opening night... bad parents!)

And in relation to the tenor of their films, A Bug's Life is deliciously anti-tyrant, and Finding Nemo has the most pro-life message I've ever seen in a theater.

Pixar rocks!

I find all their movies to be pretty darned brilliant, especially Bugs Life and Monsters, Inc.

Let me better explain myself; I was a little obtuse.

Pixar consistently makes truly amazing movies (Toy Story 1&2, Monsters, Bugs Life, Nemo) and this movie is no different. It further establishes new goals in what animation is capable of, the humor is 1st rate, and the show is fit for children of all ages.

The amazing part is that Pixar manages to do this with Al Gore on the BOD, and is financed through the same parent company that brought us Michael Moore and his trash. Somehow, the filth has managed to keep away from the brilliance; for there is NO COMPARISON WHATSOEVER with the messages sent by Liberals and what is in this movie; if anything, this movie is the anti-thesis to everything that the Democrats stand for.

1) Some people are better at things than others, so always do your best.
2) There is 'Good' and 'Evil' in the world, and 'Evil' must be hunted down and destroyed.
3) Evil doers do not feel compassion, nor show mercy. They will do things that a good person would never consider doing, they know no self-restraint.

That's why I stated that this movie is a wonder, it's a wonder that the Liberals in charge ever allowed this movie to be made.

The wifeling and I took our 14 year old son and a couple of his friends to see it yesterday. The kids enjoyed it... we LOVED it. I have been telling friends that it is one of the great "couples" movies out there.

Highly highly recommended.

Is he a swishing metrosexual girlie man gigolo in the movie? That would be the clincher.

A. O. Scott, the NY Times reviewer, said that is very much Ayn Randish.

Works for me.
