WMD was previously referred to as NBC (nuclear, chemical, biological).

"They won't believe the black moon-god ka'aba rock CAN be destroyed, until it IS destroyed."

Well then, there is the answer. Pre-emption.

But it's also possible that the threat of that has already been officially made, which may account for their continued hesitancy to use WMB up to the present time. Time will tell. In the meantime, something has to be done about all these high-alert inconveniences unless we are willing to searched and scanned as a permanent way of life.

I don't think so.

I am sure ( I hope ) that our military and civil leaders know what kind of plan of course of action in case we ever got hit or attacked again, or what evil tricks that those terrorist plan on doing.
Let's hope that our military, special forces, C.I.A , N.S.A , and what ever people they have working on dealing with those terrorist can foil and stop most ( let's hope all of their plans ) of the terrorist plans.
I am sure the US does not want to start WW III , but, on the other hand, I hope we make those terrorist homes, places of hideouts, ( Green Glass Parking lots ) if they ever try to hit us again.

"I am sure the US does not want to start WW III , . . . "

It already started. We are trying to end it while keeping the casualties down. 'slam will not go away quietly into the night. They are already at war in over 30 nations at last count.

Or ? if they are worried about fallout in the rest of the world,, use some BIG BLUES , bigger impact and blast than a daisy cutter or a few M.O.A.B.s.

The US should take a lesson from my dad. When any of us would hit each other and start a fight, no matter who started what or why, EVERYONE got whacked.

Actually, we are in WWIV.

WWIII was the so called cold war which included some very hot wars with proxies of the USSR, Red China.

WWIV was started on 9/11 with the mass murders of 3,000 innocent Americans by the Islamofascists and their Islamokazis.

I understand your point that is has already started, they started it, we will finish it.
I meant WW III as a metaphor as in ARMEGEDDON.

Yes,, that maybe true.
I only wish, there were battle lines in this war, so we can take out the enemy and come back home in peace.

I have no problem believing this war is the pre-cursor to Armageddon. I always thought it would end up with the Chinese. Maybe it will after the 'slam problem is resolved. Looks like it's going to be a continuous battle from now on. The timing fits.

Regarding: "They are already at war in over 30 nations at last count."

Response: Muslims have defined their war as between "Dar al-Harb" and Dar al-Islam." The Koran has created and defined their war as between all Muslim[s] and all non-Muslim[s]. Individually and in aggregate. It is between nations that use the Koran as their lawful foundation and those who do not.

Muslims have set the terms for war, it is only proper that we set the terms for ending it.

I think everyone's on the same page here. Time to flip the page and see what the plan is. If 'slams possess even an ounce of wisdom, it should understand that today's world is not the world of yester-year, and for them to attempt to conquer a nation that is not already Islamic is an invitation to extinction.

Then maybe they are more miserable than we can imagine with their 'religion' and their only escape is death -- 'suicide by cop!' That's the only conclusion I can come to that would account for their inhuman behavior. They are literally begging for the sword.

Woulda made a good Star Trek episode.

Travis -- that is a consequence not discussed in my post. But ... Kuwait, UAE, Saudi(?), Iraq, Bahrain ought to be able to pump enough to cover any shortfall due to loss of Iranian crude. We could have the Iranian offshore wells/ platforms back up in 120 days.

The other prime targets are not sources of oil.

But bottom line, winning this is more important than a near term disruption in the flow of oil from Arabian peninsula.

It's not exactly a win if the world economy is thrown into a depression, which I think would happen.
