I'm a Nevadan, Reid is just as vindictive as Dashle but only half as smart (which I realize is cutting the IQ pie mighty fine). We will do fine with Reid, I suspect he will hit 9.0 on the Ineffectual Richter scale.

Pretty tough talk for a swishy guy. Everything the Rat party does is creating a crisis.

Damn skippy. Instead of spending the political capital on giving assylum (or rather the none-assylum assylum) to a bunch of felons (crossing over is a felony) Bush should be leaving a real legacy with conservative judges. This is more important then the illegals and social security. If we don't get conservative judges in NOW, there is a chance of a Hildabeast victory and her stacking the judges for the left and then we can kiss the constitution and this whole nation good-bye.

Funny, I remember when Klinton said we had a crisis in Social Security and everyone in the media and all Democrats jumped on the bandwagon. I believe this was 97, 98?

Now, a few years later, there is no crisis, even though NOTHING was done.

Here is a thought: If the Social Security crisis disappears when a Republican is President, but surfaces when a Democrat is President, just keep Republicans in the Presidency and Social Security will last forever!

Nonetheless, Frist did not back away from threats to impose a drastic rule change that could eliminate the effectiveness of the Senate opposition's main delaying tactic, the filibuster, if the Democrats were to refuse to let the full Senate vote on President Bush's judicial nominees.

And they keep telling everyone that it's the Republicans who need to "reach across the aisle".

A lot of us here in Nevada call him, Harry Dweeb, or Harry "The Reed" as his opinions move in whatever direction the wind should blow!

"He's citing dates, places and times when dems under Clinton said, 'SS is in crisis' - most statements were made in 1998. It's hysterical!!"

SS in crisis was a major part of Algore's campaign platrom in 2000. He said Social Security couldn't survive unless he (Al) put it into a "lock box"

Not many people since they've dumbed down the language.

Of course, I didn't know that "pimp" had re-entered the language as a good thing...

Reid is a left-wing puppet. When he opens his mouth he sounds foolish! What does Reid have to offer this country but gloom and doom. Reid has no solutions to solve any problems. Reid only knows how to point the finger and badmouth everyone the same as his friends Kennedy, Kerry, Edwards and Dean.

Bob Novak pointed out in earlier column that the RATS did indeed invoke the 51-vote rule in lieu of a filibuster when KKK Sen Byrd was majority leader. There is ample precedence for the nuclear option.

Test case will come in February. If the 60 votes are not there, Frist will push thru the rule change.

Frist should do it! The Democrats are not running the show and should be taught a lesson. Democrats should either have something to offer or not be permitted to participate at the table. Democrats badmouthing bashing is not offering anything but obstruction.

Senate Majority Leader Frist. If you allow the judges to continue to be blocked without doing something about it, you can forget running for President in '08.

oops, pity da foo! /off urban dialect

You have to admit it sounds like a ghettoized version of "rue the day." Reid just needs 14lbs of gold chains.
