Not really blockbuster news.

It has been known for a long time they had some gruesome practices.

I get the groups mixed up, but one of the Meso-American ancient cultures even played soccer with human heads.

I heard that heads or hands were used to play lacrosse...which is why I think that sport is still not mainstream to this day.

I recall reading something about a game that was played by the Inca's or Aztec's that involved throwing a ball through some sort of hoop or ring attached to a wall.

The kicker was, the losing team was killed and sacrificed!

It would definitely motivate our rich and spoiled superstars to win the Superbowl if that was their fate, eh??
