The people are not commenting on the person, but rather the event. For some it fits in with another agenda of Second Amendment Rights or what an inhospital place NYC can be.Speak for yourself. I lived in the city for 24 years before moving out last summer, and I'm I'm commenting on the person. The bottle-blonde boyfriend is alive, and the girl is dead. What's wrong with this PICTURE?

I'm beginning to think that this guy pussed out and had a complete metrosexual breakdown.I'm right with ya there.

I don't know either of them, so I can only speculate. And I'd be speculating on the event. The boyfriend would do well to shut his pie-hole, lest he screw up potential jurors.
On the other hand, I'm a sucker for alliteration, so I like the bottle blonde boyfriend thing.

I'm a sucker for alliterationOkay, maybe we can be friends after all. :D
But trust me, I DID live in the city for 24 years, and something is just dead wrong with this scenario. Not criminally, just naturally.

If I had to speculate, I'd say the boyfriend got hit in the head, was a little dazed and thought that's as bad as it gets and starts walking away. Most guys haven't been in a fight since the 6th grade, so the shot to the head probably came as a shock. The shooter's jacked up on adrenalin, so when the actress challenged him, it wasn't that much of a stretch to pull the trigger, which shocked the people he was with...it's one of those deals where everything changes in an instant and all concerned want to replay that instant in a different way.
Again, the boyfriend should keep his trap shut.

Again, the boyfriend should keep his trap shut. Yes. Especially if he (a) wants justice for his murdered girlfriend and (b)wants to continue to appear male.

I know a liberal like this, who said something similar after some of his things were stolen. When I told him, "Thank God you weren't hurt," he remarked that he just felt bad for the thief, living in a society that compelled him to do such things.
Then I wanted to beat him up myself.

C)Just out of common decency.

What's wrong with this PICTURE?That she probably had bigger cajones than he does? A few days after the murder, he was actually quoted in the papers not only blaming "society" for creating an environment in which "kids" get guns, but also hoping that the murderer would just turn himself into the police.

Blow it thoroughly and abruptly out your hugely self-righteous ass. FR needs a kind of "Limbo-page" where deleted posts can be read by members in good standing.
Why?
So late risers like me can read them.

That's a rhetorical question, right?
