Bellecourt says he believes Churchill worked counter-intelligence in Vietnam while also claiming to be an "information specialist" there. He served less than two years active duty, by his own resume, posted on FR last evening.
He may have been the only Native American, Airborne Ranger, Information Specialist, Battalion Newsletter Reporter, CIA optech, DIA merc, Truck Driver in the AO.
I think we found the spec-op that gave John Kerry 'The Hat'.

All one has to do to obtain his service record is mail his name to : National Military Records Center (Army), 9700 Page Blvd, St. Louis, MO:
The name: Ward L. Churchill, followed by his DOB: 10-02-47,
followed by his dates of service claimed: 11-16-66 to 11-1-68.
Sometimes they respond with a form: why do you want this? (Answer: History Research) But more often they send a copy of the Subject's DD 214.
