Alright, these plans are tentative, but I think that if we are able to enlist enough willing participants we'll be able to demonstrate our presence.
Protest Warrior-and presumably, other patriotic, conservative organizations-is planning to counteract the malicious influence of the hardcore, reflexively anti-American left, who have designated March 19th-the anniversary of the beginning of Operation Iraqi Freedom-as the date for staging a bilious, contemptible display of their hatred for everything this nation-and its allies in the War on terror-stands for.
Anyone interested in combating the pernicious influence of their timeworn-but still potent-ideology should get in touch with me, either via e-mail or private message on FreeRepublic.
I would love to make this thing happen.

I would absolutely love to be there if I could...but I can't :(

It's about time!!!
If you know anyone who's interested-and available-you can refer them to protestwarrior.com, the main planning center for this endeavor.
Just click on my screen name, which will lead you to my profile page. Then, click on "links." Protest Warrior should be the first name on the list.
There are three different sites, people who are interested in organizing a planned counter-demonstration should register with ProtestWarrior HQ, i.e. "Headquarters."
I live in NYC..Ping me if you get enough people. I love freggin` protest warrior. When they had the Republican convention I wore my Bush Cheney t-shirt all around town, and got into a few episodes with them.
When I say "got into a few episodes with them" I meant the hippies, the professional protesting trust fund kids.
I participated in the first two days of "Operation Liberty Rising."
You should probably get in touch with "Kphockey2", "GodluvsAmerica", or "Racebannon", three guys who are, by any measure, the most active members of the Tri-State chapter.
Thanks for the heads-up
If I'm not away on business I'll train into the city for this. Please PING me with updates - (times and exact locale)
My last activist event was the March For Death counter-protest in DC last spring.
BTTT - go get 'em, G.!
Some christians in philly went to a homo fest I guess to witness to them. After all the trouble that ensued with them I wondered afterwards so what was the point?
Likewise I guess you're going there to witness also but again I wonder what really is the point? Are you masochistic?
Website: www.TroopsOutNow.org
Phone number: 1-(212)-633-6646
They meet every Tuesday at 7 P.M.
Location: 39 W. 14th St. #206, bet. 5th and 6th Avenues.
The point is that even if only one is saved it is worth the effort - it's an eternal perspective versus a worldly one. Christians are called to speak the Good News to a lost and dying world, and homosexuals are certainly lost and dying.
....what really is the point?"
In the political arena - like maybe to stand in the gap for righteousness. ("For we have not been given a spirit of fear, but of boldness....")
And also I intend to go down swingin' - not kneeling with a bullet in the back of my head.
Let me know if you would like to do something separately.
Thank you!

bttt
:)
I'm in and signed up for the operation at Protest Warrior...they would love to have as many freepers as possible- we did a good job with them protesting the libs at the RNC.
Thankfully, Christo's shower curtains will be gone by then...
You should rethink that- there is power in numbers and Protest Warrior is very receptive to working with other conservative groups...one of the reasons the leftists are so successful with protests is their ability to organize- we should try and do the same with similiar groups who have the same objective as Free Republic.
I know you are not to fond of them, for whatever the reason, but I can tell you that in working with PW and taking the lead in many of their activist operations they totally respect Freepers and realize we can bring it with the best of them.
