"The chaps at the Times were thrilled by these illicit tapes and splashed them over the front page for days on end"

I'm sure these voyeuristic chaps splash lots of stuff after getting their hands on illicit things. Just ask their mums.

These and other shocking revelations caused me to fall into a deep sleep, slip off the chair, and get a nasty paper cut as page 27 of the Times’s top-secret scoop nicked my cheek on the way down.

(But the tell-all secret tapes of Constitution Day will keep you awake for days! :-).

Though everyone else on the planet knew they were fake within 23 seconds, Karl cunningly identified the one news team dumb enough to fall for them..... LOL!

“You might remember me as Peter when we left Yale,” said Petra. “And now you’ve come back as yourself,” said the president.

The morons on the Left and the Euros think Bush is evil because they think he is some religious nut who thinks he's better than everyone else. In fact, the President honestly views himself as a sinner and as a man who really doesn't think he's above reproach. That's why he doesn't personally criticize others. He's a good man and we're lucky to have him in the Oval Office.

So funny. And such a great description of Cold War spy craziness in Berlin.

I was there before the Wall came down, enjoying a drink in the lobby bar at the Schweizerhof Hotel, chatting with a fellow drinker who was a Russian fellow with French citizenship on his way back to his job as an attache at the French Embassy in Poland after a vacation at home in Paris. It was late, the bar was full....a big, cushy bar with a lot of big cushy patrons, almost all of them chatting with each other.

"Vlad," I said, "How many of these people are spies?"

He took stock of the room. "All of them."

I wondered where they went after the Wall came down. Perhaps to the NY Times.

You don’t have to be an old Cold War hand to figure that Congressman Hinchey is an obvious Rove deep-sleeper planted in New York decades ago to make the Democrats look even bigger dopes than CBS

Priceless. Whata a wonderful talent this man has!
