Bodybuilders don't like SF Chron's Schwarzenegger stories
SF Chronicle ^ | March 7, 2005 | Dick Rogers

Bodybuilders by the thousands say they're angry at The Chronicle over its coverage of Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger.

They're so upset that the subject line of every e-mail includes the word "outraged." At 2,828 e-mails and counting over the last 10 days, that's a lot of indignation.

They say the paper is unfair, that Schwarzenegger has done more than anyone in history to promote good health through bodybuilding, and that the paper should celebrate, not denigrate the governor.

You'd think that much feedback would make the paper sit up and take notice. Lesser campaigns have kept me working into the night, exhaustively reading the paper's archives to decide for myself whether The Chronicle had acquitted itself well or committed journalistic misdemeanors or worse.

So, faced with this burgeoning protest, what did I do? I took the sensible step: I tossed the e-mails into the trash.

Well, obviously. That's why the world is so 'politicized', so 'GOP county/Dem county'. The libs just won't listen. Call up your lib representative - they'll HANG UP THE PHONE! You're the enemy. They've 'politicized' you, and then they step back, look at their work, and complain that the world is now too 'politicized'. What they really mean is that people are still calling them, on which they'd rather hang up the phone.

What the Commie/lib means - is - not everyone agrees with us completely . . . yet. Or if the quote of An-nold is correct, only 95% as they see it, require their 'tender mercies'. But they still want the other 5% to surrender.
