Those are Greek women of today who are essentially Slavs who have moved into the area from the north. Would you argue that Pocahantas must look like today's coeds at Virginia Tech? Most North Americans of 2000 years ago do not resemble most North Americans today (though some do) and most Greeks of 2000 years ago do not resemble most Greeks of today (though some do).

I know lots of blonde greeks. More importantly, Alexander was described as fair skined and blonde. Power in those days was usually inbred too, so it is likely that she was blonde, and in those days most women were large, the degradation of the human race into scrawny camel-legged wisps came during the dark ages.
