Inferred? Pick up a Denver Post sometime and check out the monthly hit pieces on him. When I visited my family in CO a couple of years ago the D Post was all over him because some illegal aliens had been hired by one of the contracting companies when they were working on his house. It would be the equivalent of an going to McDonald's and ordering a burger and having an illegal alien cook it in the back without you ever seeing him. But the childish D Post thought they would run him out of office with that one.
Look, I am a big Tancredo fan because he is addressing a very important issue where most are avoiding it.
If I started a group for whit people with the motto "For the race, everything, for all else, nothing", would you be cool with that?
That doesn't mean anything jmc. The La Raza mission statement has been taken totally out of context and translates poorly. Once-Ler say so.
In other news: The Sun rose in the East this morning...Imagine That.
If the same kind of organization was set up to promote "Caucasian" issues, we'd be labeled racist in a heartbeat and no one would even bother to check out the mission statement.
That is not the motto of The National Council of La Raza. That is MEChA's motto. You are lying about La Raza.
See post 285.

Care to try again?
I'm only going by what Michelle Malkin tells me. I should have figured the dumb broad didn't know what she was talking about. Here is what Michelle says...
MEChA's symbol is an eagle clutching a dynamite stick and machete-like weapon in its claws; its motto is " Por La Raza todo. Fuera de La Raza nada (For the Race, everything. For those outside the Race, nothing)."I don't who owns that motto but is sure as hell isn't The National Council of La Raza. Since you guys are the ones throwing around the alligations it is your responsibility to check your facts.
Dance, dance, dance. Cant come to grips with the fact that Dubya increased the government at twice the rate of Clinton can you? Did you know that Bush is the first president in American history to not veto a single bill? Not the kind of record a republican should be proud of is it? You seem to find plenty of excuses for Bush's out of control spending. What were you saying about Clintons spending when that jerk was in power?
You will also notice that total outlays(spending) is still significantly lower than the Reagan years as a percent of GDP. Discretionary and Program spending has increased slightly as a percent of GDP in the years following 9-11 and the recession. It will go down again.
Nope. Spending will not go down anytime soon with the staggering expenses associated with Iraqs reconstruction and Bushs Drug Bill hitting the budget from here on out.
And comparing Reagans superpower cold war days to Bush is a classic apples to oranges comparison. Reagan faced quite a dilemma when he took office. The USSR was on the move around the globe setting up proxy regimes while Jimmy Carter before him slashed the military to the point where it was woefully prepared to meet the threat.
Reagan had the unenviable task of rebuilding the military from the shambles Carter left it and having to work with a democratic congress that forced him into taking in their pork in return for greater military spending. Remember when Tip ONeil called Reagans slimmed down Budgets DOA? What is Bushs excuse? Hes had a republican controlled congress from day one that has only gotten stronger.
Dubya can't sign anything unless the Congress passes it. It passed 76 to 21 in the Senate. If the rats were not clamoring then it is also true they were not opposing. Do the math.
I guess you dont know the story on this. Dubya twisted arms on capitol him and threatened many a republican lawmaker with their future in the party to pass HIS Drug Bill. This was reported in depth at the time. Why dont you read the accounts of how this federal monstrosity got passed into law? Or will you have trouble finding links for that too?
You don't need a real social security card to have an employer take out social security taxes. McDonalds takes out social security taxes even if the employee has fraudulent papers.
McDonalds may do that but most Illegals work off the books. Its another reason why unethical employers find hiring illegals so lucrative. They dont have to worry about filing and documenting reports to the government.
According to United States Social Security Administration the totalization agreement only applies to 50,000 legal workers.
LOL. You trust SSAs numbers on this when it is the SSA that drew up the totalization pact with Mexico? Other far more objective sources conservatively put the number of illegal aliens at 300,000. Many think its much higher than that. Given the past history with amnesties Id say the ultimate figure will surpass all estimates. Hell, HLS doesnt even know how many illegals are in the U.S. or how to track them.
He's got my vote.
He's got my vote.
It is impossible for an organization so named, to NOT be racist.
The NCLR "LaRaza" had never distanced itself from MECha and both organizations work closely together in lobbying for their political agenda. Given that MECha's motto contains LaRaza's title, don't you think the NCLR would have taken strong steps to make sure there is no confusion in the public with what the NCLR stands for?
Enough said.
It is impossible for an organization so named, to NOT be racist.
When translated into Chinese, the Kentucky Fried Chicken slogan "finger-lickin' good" came out as "eat your fingers off".
Nice try. observe their behavior!
Hey! You can't vote twice!
Por la Raza, todos -- Fuera la Raza, nada
...means, "For the RACE, everything, for those outside the RACE, nothing." No matter how you spin it (or retranslate it), that is a racist declaration, especially the second clause for which no alternate translation exists.
O-L, however much you may dislike it, you must come to grips with the fact that these "raza" folks are racists.
If Tancredo is the nominee, I may vote for him. Then again,
given his violation of his term-limit pledge, I may not. If one cannot trust him in a small thing like a promise to get out of Congress after a certain number of terms, why in the hell should I trust him with command of US nuclear forces?
