None of your links mentions the National Council of La Raza they mention the words "La Raza."

Or better put: None of your links mentions the National Council of “The Race” they mention the words "The Race”. Why should this surprise you? Do you really believe that the NCLR would openly reference other Mexican Extremist groups like MECha on their website when the NCLR is supposeed to be a civil rights group? If they did, you know as well as I that the NCLR would be written off as just other rabble rousing bunch of extremists not to be taken seriously as a civil rights organization. It’s not the kind of image ANY civil rights group would like to cultivate and the NCLR knows it.

But this is not the point is it? The intriguing thing about the NCLR, a point that the OBL (and you) avoid like a plague, is that while the NCLR don’t openly reference their association with groups like MECha, they perennially remain silent about the subversive activities and radical separatist agenda of such groups many of which share the title “La Raza”.

Remember, it was the NCLR that popularized the term La Raza “The Race”. Given that other Mexican separatist groups which advocate racism and the formation of a New Azlan (to be carved out of America) use the term “La Raza” in their title or motto why doesn’t the NCLR publicly denounce these Radical groups and make sure there is no association with NCLR? The fact that they don’t should tell you that something. Why doesn’t it register with you that the NCLR has never condemned the radical positions of MECha or any other radical Hispanic group?

How much more explicit does it have to be before it seeps into our thick skull? From your own link, please read the following carefully:

“The most successful of them, José Vasconcelos, came up with a kooky concept where he claimed that the indigenous people of America had had their day in the sun but their mixture with the "better" Europeans gave rise to a new race, the mestizo. (In those days, it was common to divide Homo Sapiens into four races: Caucasoid, Mongoloid, Negroid, and Amerindian. Thrown as evidence, he cited the lost continent of Atlantis.) He called this new race "La raza Cósmica" and argued that it would be the one that would show "the way" to the rest of the world. It is a very catchy and feel-good concept. Over the years, that concept was semi-officially promoted by the Mexican government to give "atole con el dedo" to the population (that is where the custom of calling "Día de la Raza" to "Columbus Day" came from).”

So there it is. The term “La Raza” does indeed have a Racist connotation and actually translates into English quite well, your silly assertions aside. Thanks for making my point.

La Raza is a cultural term that translates poorly into English. When translated into Chinese, the Kentucky Fried Chicken slogan "finger-lickin' good" came out as "eat your fingers off". La Raza translates into "the race" or "the nation" or "the people."

Yes, you are catching on in some respects. Now can you explain how the accurate translation of La Raza to English (La Raza= The Race) is analogous to the Kentucky Fried Chicken slogan which does NOT translate accurately in English? You again make my point.

Perhaps things might become a little clearer for you when you consider that many members of the National Council of "The Race" are also members of MECha and other radical Mexican Groups. Collectively these organizations work together behind the scene and have a strong symbiotic relationship with each other. The NCLR plays the role of the Good Cop to the Bad Cop roles of Mecha and others but all are joined in a common, unifying mission…the creation of an Azlan State.

As the radical side pursues a decidedly subversive agenda against America the NCLR is there to put a happy face on it and run interference for the radical counterparts in the body politic using the vast weapons of political correctness they have at their disposal…courtesy of our government.

Maybe at this point I should talk about a person I know very well that IS a NCLR member and IS a member of other radical Hispanic groups. Let me tell you, this person absolutely hates this country and very much believes in, and works towards, the Azlan dream of a New Mexican Nation inside American. And this particular person has much company within the activist Hispanic world.

Thank you for pushing me to find the truth. Now that I have you will have a hard time spreading your lies.

No, as usual, you continue to run away from the truth about the NCLR and its association with other subversive Mexican separatist groups for whatever strange reason. Honesty, I can’t imagine any Patriotic American defending the NCLR with the zeal that you do. What’s your gig?

We can all be assured that Tancrendo will never get the Republican nomination. We beat back the Buchanonite nativists in the 1990s, and we will beat them back today.

The NRA folks, the Christian Faithful and the "America Firsters" are all important folks in our coalition, but it would be sheer folly to give the keys to the Republican car to any of them. Our coalition partners serve the party best by sitting in the back seat, occasionally offering suggestions.

Remember guys, President Bush is not at all happy with Tancrendo, and he has made that plain. You are either with our president, or against him. And if you oppose him, you are political history. End of story.

tomato, ta-mah-to. Not much use going on, cause your convinced that globalism is a good thing. This is where we disagree.

Oh, by the way, the standard of living for the middle class has been shrinking the last ten years. The exec's in corporate America are getting rich while the average Joe endures layoff's, salary freezes, wage cuts, sky rocketing benefit costs or cuts. blah blah blah.

I work for a very prominent corporation, we've seen this first hand. Hell, the company hasn't approved salary increases in three years all the while the CEO and top exec's have been showered with stock options, perks, and bonuses.

Yep, Nafta and Gatt, I think we need more of the same. (sarcasm off).

Some good numbers posted there!
Sounds like some others in DC are echoing a few of the Congressman's beliefs these days too...ie Delay's recent stance on illegals.
