Hombre (by Elmore Leonard) has more memrorable lines than any movie I've ever seen that was not based on Shakespeare.

What are you doing here? - Goin' bad Jess..

You afraid of the dark? - Hell, I don't like what I see around here during the day.

Hey Hombre, you have out a hole in me!

Cicero Grimes, meet John Russell.

You get hungry enough you'll eat dog, you'd fight over the bones too.

Well now, what do you suppose hell is going to look like...

Oh, I see, now you steal the money...

I'll buy you dinner - A lot of men will do that - Just as soon make it breakfast...

They heard you call me a dirty name, and if they didn't, I did...

I've been wedded and bedded and lied to...I keep coming back so there must be something I like

Don't puke Mendez, you might have to lie in it a while...

You like to pull the trigger - I can do it again if you want...

The list is endless...

Good run-down of "Hombre" lines. Elmore Leonard is a master.

Frank Silvero who played the Mexican was actually a Black West Indian born and raised in Harlem. He died young (@ 42) and is one of my favorite actors of all time. Everything he did was good.
