I have not been able to figure out why Clinton was invited. Unless 41 wanted to attend and W. couldn't bring his dad without inviting Clintoon.

The Bush's haul Clinton around with them just to show the contrast. He never fails to demonstrate what "no class" is all about.

former President Bill Clinton gave a television interview watched by millionsNo matter what the venue, Klinton ALWAYS has to make it about himself.

Will this [him being the only one of 3 Pres. to grant interview ]
get the attention of the MSM? ..... I know, dumb question.NBC's talking head said (paraphrased) that he was the only one KIND enough to stop and talk to them.

I concur. The juxtaposition of the Bushes (41, 43 and Laura) and Clinton serves to show all of us what class is/isn't. Cream rises to the top alright...

I heard a story, but don't know if it's true -- On the trip over to the tsunami disaster, Bill Clinton gave up the only bed on the plane to the elder former President Bush.
Maybe Clinton does have a tiny bit of class. :)

No, I don't think giving up his bed to the elder Mr. Bush showed any class. There was an ulterior motive in the gesture, I'm sure.

Perhaps, but I can't think what the ulterior motive would be.
Strangely, despite his awful eight years as President and his blatant sleaziness, I'd take him over his socialist wife anyday. And I would imagine that, if nothing else, he would be a rather fun traveling companion. People in the Jimmy Carter thread mentioned that Clinton would be much easier to take for eight or ten hours than Carter would have been.
To: Always Right
You're right. And it tells us that Bush is smarter that Clinton, because Bush knew that and Clinton, it appears, didn't. But it gives us another insight into Bush's character, and unfortunately, into Clintons.

The "Tin Hat Crowd" will tell you the Clinton's own the Bush's so the deal is they truth won't come out if the Bush's help untarnish Bubba's legacy.

Well, considering the total lack of class that the MSM has, I am certain the obvious has escaped them.
