Here in the People's Republic of Vermont (One of the 10 most liberal states in the country) they have taken the no-smoking restrictions, to an extreme.
In Burlington (the State's largest city and most liberal enclave in Vermont--where Socialist Bernie Sanders got his start) they recently passed a resolution which forbids smoking, not only in all bars (restaurants have been smoke free for years) but in private clubs (such as VFW's, American Legion, etc.) and the State Legislature is working on a bill to make this ridiculous policy the "law," statewide.
I am a small business owner; a conservative, a Vietnam Vet and a smoker.

38 Days and counting: B-bye Vermont; Hello Virginia. They actually tried the anti-smoker crapola here this past Legislative session...........it died an ugly death (pun intended) by being defeated nearly 2-1 in the Senate!!!!
