Welcome, all you Freepers, to the continuing C-span soap operas about judicial nominations. "The Guiding SEARCHLIGHT, " "As the SENATE Turns, "One NOMINATION to Live" "GERIATRIC Hospital" (for all you Byrd and Lautenberg fans out there). Follow along with us, as the Dems raise the level of histrionics, bloviation, pontification, and all around bad acting to new highs, er, lows...
Drubin is bringing up Manny Miranda discovering the memos about the plans of the dems. Our side did not handle that by focusing on the contents of the memos, but on Manny.
Yep. Transplant from Arizona. Retired E-7 from the USAF (SJAFB). Work in the RTP as a database programmer. Love this state.
OMG .. He's brining up the memo's
But FAILS to mention what the memos said about Kennedy BLOCKING JUDGES
Miranda "broke into Senate computers"! These guys flat-out lie about anything.
Ah, I see you're here to rain on the parade.
I WANT A REPUBLICAN TO READ THOSE MEMOS AND PUT THEM IN THE RECORD NOW!!!
I nominate Miranda to run against the RINO of his choice.
He sure did!
And that is NOT true. Period.
The lying is so sickening. Durbin is
What have I missed? I just got back on line ...thunderstorms and tornado warnings!
I don't recall that he hacked anyone's computers. Didn't he just come across this little goldmine in all innocence?
We're not too far from each other then.
You won't have much left.
I fear that many of those you think of as "RINO's" fit very nicely into the traditional Republican ranks of pussy-footing pussies.

* Law schools and the legal profession are currently strongly dominated by a form of orthodox liberal ideology which advocates a centralized and uniform society. While some members of the academic community have dissented from these views, by and large they are taught simultaneously with (and indeed as if they were) the law.
* The Federalist Society for Law and Public Policy Studies is a group of conservatives and libertarians interested in the current state of the legal order. It is founded on the principles that the state exists to preserve freedom, that the separation of governmental powers is central to our Constitution, and that it is emphatically the province and duty of the judiciary to say what the law is, not what it should be.
* The Society seeks both to promote an awareness of these principles and to further their application through its activities. This entails reordering priorities within the legal system to place a premium on individual liberty, traditional values, and the rule of law. It also requires restoring the recognition of the importance of these norms among lawyers, judges, and law professors.
* In working to achieve these goals, the Society has created a conservative and libertarian intellectual network that extends to all levels of the legal community.
Now that is a good idea!
Sounds like something Biden would say..
They were NOT hacked
Senator Leahey CHANGED the software so the both sides had access to memo and documents
It doesn't take much effort to hack into the "My Documents" folder.
And now here's more Dem-quoting of George Will, "the grand guru of the conservative cause" according to Durbin.
