Companies like Wal-Mart give free enterprise and capitalism a bad name.

Feel free not to work there or shop there. Otherwise, it's none of your business how they operate their business, as long as it's legal.

Do you have similar ideas about other issues, like abortion?

"as long as it's legal."

Morals and ethics do play a role in corporate citizenship. I don't want my government legislating morality.

it's none of your business

Since 'Wal-Mart employees are eligible for $2.5 billion in Federal assistance' it is everyone's business.

I would normally agree with you. But they are using our tax money to supplement their low wages in order to keep their employees healthy and housed. When somebody is using my money (taxes) in order to get out of their obligations then I have a problem. I am very interested in how my tax money is spent. End the entitlement programs for both individuals AND businesses.

Certainly it is my business how ANY business operates. Business don't operate in a vacuum. When a company operates in a manner that causes harm to my community, legal or not, or even has an appearance of causing harm, legal or not, it is my business.

Your response is nonsense.
