FYI...my response to the Voinovich spectacle.
Great reply. I'm tempted to call his office and tell them at least Bolton IS a man.
I wonder what the budget for Kleenex is in the Voiovich office.
Well said. Thanks for the ping.
We need the same resolution and directness that Bolton will bring to the UN...on our southern border.
Thank you and you're welcome.
Voinovitch is a total disgrace.
I heard the sound bite of the crying jag. What the heck is wrong with him??
Other then Voinovich being a RINO, I sense something is seriously wrong in his head.
Right. That's why I'm getting behind Randy Graf against Jim Kolbe.
What we need now is strength, resolution, moral clarity and a call to those of similar moral resolution and steafastness to stand in the breech against all comers.
I am trying to picture Voinovich and Rove and Rummy drinking at a bar. It's not happening in my melon.
"V" needs meds or a thump upside the noggin'.
Sheesh.
But since he was not...it makes the entire affair appear more like a political ploy to try and turn the public against the President's nominee.
Something is wrong alright...but I believe Voinovitch knew exactly what he was doing.
Ya figure?
What's the maneuvering?
It makes no sense on the face of it. Voinovich is clearly a man who is racked by guilt and self-loathing. Somebody's got something but good on him. He really should retire from the Senate immediately.
Very good reply! That was one of the oddest spectacles I have witnessed on the floor of the Senate -- made no sense. He acted like his best friend had been killed. If he gets choked up and cries about the nomination of the UN Ambassador, then it is time for him to resign. Voinivich looked on the verge of a nervous breakdown -- really strange since as you said he didn't even bother to attend most of the hearings on Bolton.
But something is clearly amiss IMHO and I agree that he should consider getting out of the Senate.
Here ya go:
