Hope your right. I'll believe it when I see it.

I think we might have a chance at his seat in '06 after he wins the Governor's race, but I just don't see him losing, especially with the R's still not being able to do anything but fight amongst themselves.

NJ, I fear, has fallen victim to the Dark Side...

Its not like they had a choice.

Schundler and Forrester were both RINOS.

Only Forrester was honest about it, while Schundler has everyone here fooled to think he is a conservative.

Schundler a RINO? What is the basis for that conclusion?

Schundler started out his political career as a left-wing Democrat. He worked in the 1984 Presidential campaign of left-wing Democrat Gary Hart. Hart started his career in politics as the national campaign manager for radical left-wing George McGovern.

Schundler supports further opening America's porous borders to massive Third World immigration. He always says that "we are a nation of immigrants" and that massive Third World immigration is beneficial to the United States. In the last debate Schundler stated he was against enforcing immigration laws, and would encourage state agencies not to work with Federal agencies to report illegals. Bret Schundler Closet Liberal

Ronald Reagan started out as a Democrat. I worked on the campaign of JFK as an 18 year old. I am now a conservative. Political views change over time. Schundler was 25 at the time he worked on the Hart campaign. Perhaps it was his Harvard education that colored his political views. Hell, Hart would probably be considered as a moderate Rep today by the rabid liberal Dems

I read your link. My question is what is Paul Mulshine's agenda? Perhaps he backs Forrester or maybe he wants to run against Corzine himself. MULSHINE vs. CORZINE IN U. S. SENATE RACE

FYI: I was born and raised in Jersey City and know a little bit about NJ politics. My grandfather was a ward healer for Mayor Hague.
