Fred Phelps the Viper: Clues to What's Driving Him-- Al Gore? [God-hates-faXs ping]

Free Republic Exclusive

Fred Phelps, leader of the "God-hates-faXs" movement, is planning on crashing the funeral of one of our War Dead on July 4th. Why? To spread his message of anti-homosexual SPAM in the most inappropriate way imaginable. There's a time and a place for everything. He's a publicity whore, as far as I'm concerned.

Here are snips from an earlier FR Report:

"A SF SGT E-5, James Stewart, will be buried in St. Petersburg, Florida on July 4, 2005. It's wholly appropriate that he be buried on our nation's birthday, because Sergeant Stewart gave his life for our country.... and all of us. He was killed in Iraq by a roadside bomb, call an IED in MilSpeak. IED is short for "Improvised Explosive Device." [snip]

"A Topeka, Kansas freak has announced plans to disrupt the burial with chants, bull horns and signs that read, "Thank God for IEDs" "God Hates America," "This Soldier Is In Hell," and "God Wanted This Soldier Dead." " [snip]

[posted by Mindbender26-- link posted at bottom of next post.]

It's my belief that whether that "Topeka, Kansas freak" shows up there or not, it's a good time we try to uncover just what that "freak", Fred Phelps, is about.

And while the clock is ticking, the anti-Christians are gloating, trying to compare Phelps with all Christian Conservatives. Fred Phelps is like a custom-made punching bag for the Left. And guess what? Maybe he is. Can you spell, "Al Gore?"

Fred Phelps went even further than I go [saying a lot, I have to tell you] , even further than Repent America goes, in calling sodomites to task, using our War Dead as props! He's stabbed our fighting forces in the back time-after-time. And I've been digging today to figure out why.

Here's what I've uncovered so far [and if you have sourcing that can confirm or deny, please contribute.]

1. Phelps was reportely a propaganda operative for Saddam Hussein.

2. He was reportedly a propaganda operative for Fidel Castro.

3. Fred Phelps was reportedly very tight with Al Gore, along with photographic evidence.

4. He was reportedly a narcotics abuser.

5. It's widely reported that Phelps was a shady lawyer, and several others his family have been practicing lawyers.

Let's take this step-by-step:

You will find these ADL links show what appears to be a systematic effort to alianate the Christian Right from everyone:

Here's what appears to be an effort to alianate the Christian Right from Americans of African descent:

" "Forget the American Bald Eagle. Since June 23, 1994, the only fitting emblem for the Great Seal of the United States Judiciary is this beast...Just call me: 'Yo Honuh'!!!... Here Come De Judge!!!"

--Text surrounding a racist caricature of an African-American female judge, "The Federal Judiciary: A Menagerie of Demonic, Libidinous, unclean Beasts: A Curse from God Upon an Apostate Nation," WBC flier, November 28, 1996"

There are crack heads who are more in touch with sanity than this freakazoid. He is an annoyance wherever he goes and he is a pustule on the bum of mankind.

"I hear you. If Phelps were, in fact, a "plant" or operative, what would he do differently?"

This is an excellent question. The main enemy of a Free America is the Hard Left. They began with the Soviet Communists. There has been some evolution in the Hard Left, especially the Long Term Strategy worked out in 1957-1960, as explained by Golitsyn, who was a ranking KGB officer at the time and observed the strategy being worked out, before he defected to the US in 1961.

We all know the Hard Left has proved unable to compete with the US in economic development or technology.

In many areas, however, the Hard Left excels, including deception, subversion, and terror. The operating principles of the Soviet Communists, explained so well in Anton Suvorov's books, Inside the GRU and Inside Spetsnaz, have become incorporated into the Hard Left over time, including terrorists.

I was born and raised a Liberal Democrat. Though I had a genetic predisposition to see things sensibly (ie, less like a Liberal than those around me), my political turning point came in the mid-1980s, when I became friends with a guy i worked with in Silicon Valley who grew up in the Soviet Union. A frequent line of his to me (in reference to politics) was, "Don't be naiive."

I was raised the same way. My mom was one of the Naders' Raiders, and she taught me to hug trees-- literally. But she loved to hear Governor Reagan on the radio. That led her out of it, eventually. But she still hates to see cut roses. "They're dead."

I remember in high school: my first brush with a liberal lie was a convoluted circle: facism was at the bottom and communism was at the top. Both right and left supposedly interested with both in a circle.

And the teacher, flaming leftist though he was, he was honest enough to admit that facism, while 'driven by the right', blended with socialism. I asked, "Then why is it a circle? If facism is socialism, it's on the left too, right?" "No," he said, "it's driven by the right." That later re-surfaced from forgotten things when someone brought up the fact here on the FR that Nazis are left wing.

The second encounter with a left wing lie was hearing the head honcho of education talk about how we should passively resist war, like Ghandi. I was fortunate enough to have had experiences with bullies. [They're trying to take that off the ciriculum in schools now, I hear.] Keeping bullies in mind, I realized that you can't resist passively in totalitarian regimes-- only in a free country.

My third encounter was the Congressional Bank scandal. At the time, I concluded that both parties were hopelessly corrupt [note that that Bush's father saying "Read my lips"].

And then came the information age. I got in it early, listening to Weyrich on NET. For some reason, I needed to see it on TV at first, not trusting radio yet. When I heard about partial birth abortion, that was the last straw.

Then I entered the FR prior to registration. What a time that was. Foul mouth leftists were all over the place, trying to disrupt it. I was having fun. But a lot of people were run off.

Still awake? Hehehe!

Phelps' law career checkered

By Joe Taschler and Steve Fry
The Capital-Journal

"...The law career of Fred W. Phelps Sr. ended Feb. 3, 1989, when he surrendered his license to practice law in federal court.

"Phelps gave up his license after he and five of his grandchildren and a daughter-in-law -- all lawyers -- surfaced as defendants in a disciplinary complaint filed Dec. 16, 1985, by nine active and senior U.S. District Court judges in Kansas. The federal judges charged the seven Phelpses had made false accusations against them.

"The five children were Fred W. Phelps Jr., Margie Jean Phelps, Shirley Lynn Phelps-Roper, Jonathan Baxter Phelps and Elizabeth Marie Phelps. Betty Joan Phelps, wife of Fred Phelps Jr., was the seventh defendant. According to court records, the seven had: ... " [snip]

I'm serious. Only a closet pole-slobbering donut-puncher would freak out THIS bad about gays.

Fred Phelps is gay as hell.

The guy's an idiot. But I'm sure a few knuckle-draggers here will find a way to defend him.

He's not a Christian though.

Says who? Don't fundies believe they're once saved, always saved? Of course, that's my whole problem with such an inane and illogical doctrine.

Praying for a tsunami to wipe out all of North America? Wow. That would take about an 85.6-on-the-richter-scale earthquake (at that point I guess the earth would simply split in two). And doesn't Fred live in North America? I guess maybe he thinks it wouldn't affect him, but I'm pretty sure the tsunami wiped out at least a few people who were pro-life and against gay marriage.

I'm no friend of homosexual activists. But I don't want them killed. I want them saved. And I even want them to enjoy life while it lasts. FRegards....

Well he has to be saved in the first place. If there's no fruit of the Spirit, he's not saved. Since the rev has no love for sinners but outright hatred, it's safe to assume that he's not ever had a true salvation experience.

If you read the Wikipedia articles, it paints him as someone who belives only he and his cult are saved. Everyone else is going to hell unless they convert to his particular brand of hate. Either he does think that only the WBC would be saved, or he is just trying to make the most outrageous statements he can in order to get publicity. I think it's probably a little of both. The man definitely needs mental help (or a good horsewhipping).

You lost me there. I know FR means Free Republic, but understand nothing else in these sentences. Please explain. I have only been in FR since maybe Feb of this year.
