You can be as sarcastic as you'd like, but i've yet to see evidence coming from the left that they are willing to protect and defend this country. All I see and hear is their protests about how our enemies are being treated by our troops.
They don't. God bless 'em, they're the reason I stick around!
The interesting thing is that the PATRIOT Act, given its sheer size and the speediness of its passage, had to have been drafted during the Clinton administration, if not sooner. My suspicion is that it was shelved until the perfect opportunity to spring it on the public presented itself.
Is there anything in the Patriot Act about securing our borders? No? Then why should I feel any safer?
Don't you worry yourself about the left. When they're in power they tend to be more effectively brutal than the right.
