I read a thread last night where some Freepers had said they saw video or pics of brand new school buses. Underwater. Why didn't officials put people on those buses and get them out? They'd have saved their buses and people.

Before the hurricane hit there were a lot of people, interviewed on TV and broadcast over here in Europe, saying they were _choosing_ to stay and rough it out. For these folks I have less sympathy than for the sick and elderly, that's for sure.
