Another record of the Babe's goes down .... though so obscure no one apparently noticed it until yesterday.

But Bonds will never break the mark for homeruns as an outfielder named Babe.

Apparently, Ruth still holds the record for most home runs as a pitcher by players with 700 or more career home runs.

Babe Ruth will always be known as the best home run hitter before Major League Baseball began juicing the ball.

Obscure one?

I thought it would be "Most home runs by a juiced-up grade-A jerk with a thin-talent-pool of pitchers"

Any player who used steroids and broke a record... should wear an * after his name.

They made Maris wear it for 40+ years for playing 161.

Why doesn't bonds just go away?

Baseball purists will never accept any of the modern records.

I bet Bonds has the record for the most home runs using steroids.

Yeah let's hear it for Mr. Bonds. He doesn't mind if he breaks Babe's record because Babe is a white guy. But he would fel bad if he broke Aaron's record because he claims he has a soft spot for his fellow black players. I don't know if anyone heard him say this (numerous times), but it disgusted me. I cannot believe that people like up to this grade A Piece of S***. His name doesn't belong in any record book.

Ruth parties, drinks and plays less games.

To catch Ruth, Bond juices it up and plays more games. Plus the pitchers mound has been shaven down.
Bond sucks!
