I can't believe it, but today is the fifth anniversary of my signing up here at FreeRepublic.com.
I wish to thank Jim Robinson for creating this oasis of sanity! And for all of my new found Freeper friends, for allowing me to ba a part of your lives.
God bless you all!
There is, however, one special lady who has changed my life and my family's lives forever.
Patriciaruth, I will always be in your debt! If ever there was an angel in my life, you are it!
Thank you, and thank all of your "Merry Band of Patriots"!
Thank You Ping!
Jim Robinson's little website has touched untold numbers of people, not just in the US, but all over the world. Who knew! God bless Jim!!! (He saved my sanity, too.)
Whaddya want, a parade? :-)
Maybe we'll get the 82nd to drop a few paratroops in your honor. Actually, that would be pretty cool.
Congrats. I signed up shortly after 911 (under a different name / different puter) after getting banned by Lucianne. LOL!
Now, you have to get all of us donuts.
Saw your profile page. You certainly have paid your dues and more. I too thank God you've found FR - it helps us all keep our sanity.
We're all grateful to JimRob for FR being an island of reason. Plus, some of the funniest people around are right here. I've never laughed harder than while reading some hilarious posts!
Congrats on the years and the chick.
I send a great deal of news and comedy that I find here to my family and friends.
This place is a major news source for me.
As I recall, the first year was a trial by fire, with my education coming from folks like you. ;^)
Somebody who's been airborne shouldn't zactly have a problem with a clown like me. ;o)
Cheers friend, I'm toasting a strong cup of black coffee in your name...
*clink*
Well, I certainly improved my debating skills over the years! 8^)
Thanks! Mine is sweet and blonde! *clink*
It certainly doesn't hurt to pause and reflect on the greatness of FR.FR is edited (that is, moderated) for an audience of intelligent adults (and respectful, very intelligent youth). It is an adult site, not an "adult" (actually adolescent) site.
No doubt about it, when I was monitoring my mother during the five years before she finally died of Alzheimer's, FR helped me keep whatever trace amounts of sanity I may possesses.
It's nice having you around. Time really does fly, doesn't it?
So how have you changed over five years?
I clicked your profile pic, I'm a lifetime member of the PVA, nice to meet you.

Happy FReeperversary!
