Dems can't even force a party line vote on controversial bankruptcy legislation.

No way they could impeach, even with a slim majority.

Unfortunately for the dummycrats, Joe Blow Wilson confired the attempt to purchase Uranium Oxide in Africa. Wilson would be the dummy's worst witless, er, witness.

They couldn't even schedule an impeachment vote.

Someone should point out to Nadler that, in addition to being so fat he can't see his feet, that he can't read a calendar.

The "alleged" attacks on Wilson happened 3 months AFTER the war was over, and months after authorization. They couldn't possibly have been part of the plot to mislead the congress into supporting the war.

IN a related bit of stupidity, Treudeau today in his "Doonesbury" comic strip asserts that the Republicans have had complete power for 5 years, so everything is our fault. Someone should point out to him that, in fact, the democrats staged a coup to capture control of the senate for almost 2 years. And unlike republican "coups" that involve the democratic process and the will of the people, the democrats actually did steal power by bribing a senator with a committee chairmanship to switch sides.

He lied under oath to congress. Why not start there?

by the end of this week, we'll know. why risk making statements like this now, rather then waiting a week.

This might not be the smartest tactic....because when the (subject that I promised I wouldn't bring up on a NON-SCOTUS thread).....is over, one way or the other...

IF the dems start down this road...it will just help heal any rifts in the Republican Party...because this would be a "declaration of war" on the POTUS and CIC during war time.

No self-respecting conservative or Republican could let that happen without a fight. (I hope)

Republicans are idiots, they fight by the rules.

The Democrats believe the law is whatever comes out of their mouths.

Either the Republicans begin to prosecute democrats with any and every law possible, make laws to arrest democrats with or else the dems will eat them alive.

no, they don't want to actually impeach Bush - they just want to hold the hearings, to use as a smear forum leading into the 2008 elections.

"The CIA leak issue is only the tip of the iceberg,” House Judiciary Democrat Jerrold Nadler.

Will we ever find out which Top Secret documents an ex-*Crinton NATIONAL SECURITY ADVISOR stole from the archives - while preparing for the official 9/11 investigation panel?

If they really thought they had it in the bag it wouldn't be Nadler making the announcement. Not when there's face time on the news free for the taking.

I believe it was the Senate Intelligence Committee that came to the conclusion that Wilson is/was a liar...the Bush White House didn't have to do anything to "discredit" him...

That is correct

The Dems are over reaching .. AGAIN

You will now see conservatives circle the wagons and stand with Bush.

Gee. Wouldn't that be nice, for a change.
