I think the Dems have gotten to Fitzgerald. quietly of course, and we won't see the results until years from now. he'll end up as high ranking justice dept official should they regain the white house, or land some plum 7 figure job as a partner in a law firm linked to Dem interests.
I just don't think the Dems would be tossing around statements like this if they didn't know the indictments were in the bag.
I'll give it some consideration when Democrats demand an investigation into whether Roosevelt sacrificed Pearl Harbor to get us into WWII.

The "alleged" attacks on Wilson happened 3 months AFTER the war was over, and months after authorization. They couldn't possibly have been part of the plot to mislead the congress into supporting the war.
IN a related bit of stupidity, Treudeau today in his "Doonesbury" comic strip asserts that the Republicans have had complete power for 5 years, so everything is our fault. Someone should point out to him that, in fact, the democrats staged a coup to capture control of the senate for almost 2 years. And unlike republican "coups" that involve the democratic process and the will of the people, the democrats actually did steal power by bribing a senator with a committee chairmanship to switch sides.
