Is it John or Jack? On his website it says "John P. Murtha" but I hear people say Jack too.

It actually says both on his website. Jack/John Murtha, same as Jack/John Kerry in my opinion. Personally I'd rather use a less than honorable name for him, but I'll put that in the letter that goes with the flag. I won't post it here.
and no before anyone asks, I won't tone down my disgust for this maggot masquerading as a retired Marine Corps Colonel.
He has torpedoed any respect I may have had for him as a fellow Marine.
He has put my comrades in danger with his statements and as far as I am concerned, his public statements are tantamount to treason because what he said gives aid and comfort to the enemy.

Yes, a white feather. A white flag indicates surrender, while a white feather indicates cowardice. And that, irregardless of his previous service, is what he has shown. Shoot, he didn't even have the moxie to vote for his own idea.
