Congratulations to Professor Roberge. Let's hope more people like him choose to go into education so our young people don't think all people in academia are crazy liberal socialists who are intolerant of other viewpoints.

bump--a trophy for the FR mantlepiece. How encouraging to see a conservative academic not only hang on to his job, but flourish!

Many congrats! I see teaching experience included Quinsig. Comm. College in Worcester. Our homeschooled daughter is a Senior in high school, and she's taking her Math and Science courses at Quinsig.

Congrats! Such honors are doubly difficult to come by for a conservative prof., as I well know.

By the way, my co-author, Michael Allen, did not win "professor of the year," but was awarded the U. of Washington-Tacoma's "Researcher of the Year" for his contributions to our book, "A Patriot's History of the United States." So the academy every once in a while gets it right.

Dear sir, Thank you.

Yes, I have to "toot" my own horn.

My college has done NOTHING to promote this (whereas other college and universities offer receptions, parties, dinners, issues press releases, get their state Governor to issue proclamations, dedicate an honored "CHAIR" at the college for that faculty member, etc.).

Please spread this press release far and wide!.

Oh yes, folks if you would only SUPPORT and encourage your conservative academics...then you would not have so FEW around. Remember: the COMMUNISTS and FEMINISTS and SOCIALISTS promote their OWN college faculty; and you wonder why the colleges are such a mess!

Please think about it!

Thank you. Yes, I tried to get a full time faculty position there. Strange no replies to my applications.

Thank you. As for BUMP...I would ask ALL on Free Republic, WHY is it when the "conservative media" was given this press release...that NO ONE followed up on it?
This includes: Washington Times, WorldNetDaily, NewsMax, Drudge, CNS NEWS, etc. Oh yea, and RUSH Limbuagh was informed.

Are they conservative? Does anyone have suggestions?

Thank you.

Congrats to Michael Allen, as a professor who has done research (yes, even lab bench work!), I praise him for his award and efforts.

My thanks and congratulations sir. More importantly your students have a conservative thinker to guide them. Life is precious and those who defend it are heroes.

Well done, looks like you're doing the real work of education...
not just teaching belly-button contemplation in the style of Noam Chomsky, etc.
