Just wondering, besides going around FISA during the investigation of Aldrich Ames, did the Clinton Administration go around FISA during the investigation and deportation of Elian Gonzales?

IIRC, Waco was bugged because of trumped up child abuse charges...

Not federal jurisdiction.

From this thread:

http://www.freerepublic.com/forum/a39066c1b4643.htm

"Reno did not have a court order to invade the private home in Little Havana. She had no authority to snatch away Elian and even if by the furthest stretch of the law Reno had jurisdiction, a court order is required by the Constitution."

boarding school has nothing to do with wire taps. I've been holding a resentment. Elian's mother gave up her life for his freedom and the American people bought Clinton's lie that Elian belonged with his father.

Yah, but this thread is about wire taps that bypass the court system, you see. Elian is peripheral to the thread.

You might do some research, find a current story about Elian and post it as a new thread, though.

Who could have any doubt that Janet Reno and her gang did everything and anything they wanted to get Elian back to Cuba?

But on the positive side, it is very likely that these actions put W in the White House, i.e., cost Gore the state of Florida.

2100 was the total, I believe. It was all entered into a database called "WHoDB."

It's still around, I'm sure.
