I think there are a number of FReepers who might be interested in initiating a "Safe Harbor" program, similar to what you see in many downtown areas, where participating business agree to allow unaccompanied minors to take sanctuary in their stores while the parents or police are summoned. Participating FReepers could post little "Exotic Dancer Overnight Shelter" signs on their windows on doorways, indicating that they are willing to accept visits from any poor unfortunate attractive young females who might have locked themselves out of their apartments at 2:00 in the morning.

If it saves just one young woman, it will be worth it!

Does it come with French benefits?

I dated a stripper in college. (I was a bartender.)

They look good and can be quite fun, but are SO NOT worth the baggage.

3 month relationship, ended with her sleeping with some other guy whilst drunk.

Chick showed up 13 years later, me completely reformed as a flawed human can be, religious, married 10 years, kids, and here's this (still-good-looking in a cheap sort of way) stripper who you have not seen for 13 years banging on the door at 8:00 am, crying that I "was the only person who was ever good to her" and that she hired a PI to find me.

Explain that one to your wife.

(Mrs. MWT let her in, had coffee with her, and we sent her on her way. Mr. MWT did not sleep on the couch, but the bed was cold for a while. Very cold.)
