Commentator Appalled but not Surprised compares queer flik star Heath Ledger to a mongoloid baboon, then apologizes to aforesaid baboons for the comparison.

I heard a while ago that West Virginia was going to ban it. But that's a state that was lynching people only 25 years ago, so that's to be expected," Ledger said.

LOL, I am now waiting for confirmation on any and all 1981 West Virgina lynchings. What did Senator Byrd know, and when did he know it?

Just because a movie is made, there is no inherant right to have it shown.

Only goes to show. Don't break down barriers unless you can see what's on the other side.

Discovered him in Ten Things I Hate About You...

It was a really cute movie....a take-off of Taming the Shrew...

..Too bad.

He disgusts me now, and I have no intention of watching another movie with him in it.

And no inherant right that we have to actually go to see it!!!

BTW - 5 weeks on screen and has made a whopping $22.4M...the movie cost $14M to make....and it has to triple that $14M to actually make the money back....so far....it's a monetary flop.....yet, somehow media etc keeps telling the public that it's a hit....hmmmm....

Damn! I didn't know that there were lynchings goin on during the 80s in West Virginia.

Oh yes. That Ronald Reagan was president in the 80's and he did the worst stuff. Did you know that in addition to facilitating lynchings in West Virginia, he invented homelessness and tried to destroy the world with nuclear weapons? Only the stiff opposition of Great Men like John Kerry and Ted Kennedy prevented it.

Well, this shows how much the "stars" know about the concepts of free enterprise, independent businesses and private property.......unless it's theirs.

Shhh...

Don't try to use logic with liberals.

It only makes their heads hurt.

That is a slander on West Virginia which has it's own mountains, but instead of two cowboys who want to ride each other, it's still the farmer and his sheep.

I knew I shouldn't do this, but here goes. I can't stop now.

I think it's hilarious and very immature of a society.

Ledger is way out there in loony left land.

Society doesn't have to accept sodomy in order to be mature.

Heath Ledger is a damn fool. There has not been a single report of the banning of the movie in West Virginia and yet he insults the ENTIRE state by implying residents there are a bunch of lynching murderers.

These Hollywood types are not just idiots. They are pure evil.

You can expect both of these moronic pinheads to jump into the Brokedick Mountain controvery up to their necks. This is how they guarantee themselves Oscars and other crappy awards given out by their artsy-fartsy Liberal pals.

What the....? It looks like I missed something really important during my formative years.

lynching people only 25 years

The last lynching in the US was in 1964, 2 whites and 1 black.
