If you had the relatives that I have come to your house on Thanksgiving, you wouldn't take them to a sports bar for the game.
At least you wouldn't if you wanted to go back to that sports bar in the future - ha ha.

It's kinda a circular backslapping event. The "news" tell
you how great the sport is, they get you interested, you
watch it on their channel, and their ratings go up..so the
media charge more to their advertisers.
Basically, the media is using your inquisitive viewing habits
to make more money for themselves.
It is better to go out an do a sport, rather than watch it,
better for your heart, attitude, and weight!

Good luck to your boys this weekend. I had the unfortunate experience of watching them destroy the Browns in Cleveland and I'll probably be rooting for them. What's with all the Pittsburgher whining about Cowher? The man is solid.
