How do I post pictures and put stuff in italics?

Go to the HTML sandbox provided in the post. It's very helpful.

I keep the HTML Campfire and Basic HTML Formatting threads bookmarked.
They're the ~~only~~ reason I know how to do any semblance for formatting. Image hosted by TinyPic.com

If you use the Firefox browser, they have some cool extensions that do it automatically. See post 391 linked below:
