Cheney accident not unusual (But you know The New York Slimes

By REAVIS WORTHAM

"Ultimately, I am the guy who pulled the trigger and fired the round that hit Harry," said Vice President Dick Cheney.

-snip-
"It's bad, all right," I said. "But unfortunately it isn't uncommon for people to be hit while hunting quail or dove. Hunting is dangerous."

Great Korean War Film, The Hunters is just starting on the Fox Movie Channel! It is George, really really George!

Hmmm. A war movie.

I have liked a lot of war movies.

But at the moment, I get my fill of that. And it's not even a movie. ;-)

Re: Just where exactly do you think I am that I can just flick on The Fox Movie Channel and catch what's running on there? ;-)

What! They don't have the Fox Movie Channel playing for you in Iraq? Gad! I'll send a strongly worded protest letter to Rummy this afternoon! How can they expect us to win this war if they skimp on movie channels?

We get bootleg DVDs. First run stuff. For about three or four bucks. If it's in theaters in the U.S., we can get it here.

We have a couple of movie channels on our Orbit satellite, but it's way cooler to chill back and watch something you can't even get on a movie channel yet. ;-)

As for war movies? I hear enough shooting, explosions, helicopters and warplanes going over, see enough tanks and a wonderful variety of weaponry that when it's down time, I just want a good comedy or even a drippy chick flick. LOL

I just wanted to say that you've really captured the spirit, if not the essence, of Bender.

One thing they never clarified in the show, if a famous robot dies, do they still put their head in a jar? Or, just set it on the shelf?

Yes, I've read about some of them on that site too. Funny how we can read the comics for years and then be surprised when we read charactor descriptions on the official site!!

There's a lot more to them than we knew, lol!!
