Clint Taylor is an alumnus leading the fight against Mr. Rahmatullah's acceptance. He has a number of columns on Townhall about the issue, in addition to the "Nail Yale" blog with up-to-the-minute developments. I may post some important blog links in the near future, so if you are interested, stay tuned.
I heard someone say on the news that this man had a fourth grade education. I don't know, however, if he meant that literally or if he was just being sarcastic because I didn't heard the entire segment.
One news development for yesterday was a poll of Yale students on the Hashemi issue published by the Yale Herald. The poll is interesting but the methodology isn't reliable (as they admit), so I don't expect it to have a major impact on the debate. The response rate was interesting: nearly a third of the student body decided to write in, so it is clearly a topic of some interest on campus. Highlights: SHOULD YALE HAVE ADMITTED SRH TO THE NONDEGREE PROGRAM? Yes: 51. 16%; No 25.71%; Don't Know 20.03%. There is slightly less support for keeping SRH on for another year: 42% support keep him on, almost 30% say don't, and 21% don't give too much of a rip. About fifty percent of Yalies responding thought there had been too much media coverage. About twenty percent are "embarrassed" by having SRH on campus; 18% are "proud", and 52% are neutral. Two more interesting facts after the jump:
Remember, those are the same idiots who will be reviewing all the amnesty applications for our new Mexican friends over the next few years.
Well...it's not like the Taliban had any sort of operational relationship with al Qaeda or anything....
I don't know if it's accurate to call him " unapologetic "
That's not quite the impression I got from the original long article. (though I realize it was a liberal publication)
