This is good news, though it would be better if Kean were a more conservative candidate.
I can't help but wonder whether the pro-illegal immigration protests have damaged Menendez?
It would be better if NJ would elect a more conservative candidate. Kean ain't much. But I think he's about the best the Garden state will ever produce.
I don't mind RINO's where that's the best we can do. What I hate is the RNC shoving RINO's down our throats in conservative states. Support the 'rightmost viable candidate.'
Menendez is a Cubano. To accuse his family of being illegals isn't accurate. Cubans enjoy lenient asylum laws not afforded to other immigrants. This has made some La-Raza folks resentful of the Cuban Exiles in Miami.
What is bringing Menendez down is Corzine. Survey USA's recent approval ratings for the Governors show Corzine is approaching Bush numbers.
These are the same dirtbags that said Chris Simcox taking over a third of the vote in an open primary demonstrated how little traction immigration issues had with the American public.
Ppl can rag all they want about RINOs. Here in NJ, just getting a GOP win for US Senate would be a big accomplishment and a step in the right direction.
