I'd go for it. With luck, the Earth will be smashed to smithereens and you won't have to go. Besides, do you really want to spend one or your last few days of life in the dentist chair?

Don't reschedule. Maybe the aliens plan to abduct all of us from the dental chairs and save us from the comet. Sort of an alien's version of Noah.
