I won't be surprised....but, he has had to pass a security check so I am SURE the White House is well aware of his past quotes about President Bush...it isn't like he was hiding them...
I think it speaks well for President Bush that he DID offer him the job with Tony's past opinions out there for all to read.
Dubya doesn't mind criticism, especially when it's constructive. I'll miss Tony on the air, though.
