Conservatives, nationwide are getting angry about the loss of principle by GOP'ers in office. Big spending in Washington and Sacramento. The inability to control illegal aliens. Failure to protect jobs and the failure to stop the social agenda of liberals in our schools in finally causing conservatives to say NO to GOP incumbents, even if it means we could lose seats in a legislative body. The thought is simple, why protect a Republican running for office if their voting record will differ little from the Democrats.
In Utah, GOP Congressman Chris Cannon could not win his Parties endorsement for re-election--his opponent got more votes in Convention then he did.
In Nebraska, Congressman tom Osborne, and legend in the state, was defeated for the nomination for Governor due to his weak stand on illegal aliens.
In Heardon, Virginia, five incumbent city council members lost re-election due to their creation of a "Day Labor Center" for illegal aliens.
In the California 50th Congressional District Special Election, the Democrat is ahead of the Republican, since the Republican has been portrayed as more liberal than many Democrats--has even supported Democrats in the past.
But, Pennsylvania last Tuesday should have been the two by four to every GOP candidate and office holder in the nation.At least 14 incumbent GOP office holders, including the top two in the State Senate were defeated in a Republican primary, by Republicans. The good news is that if they had not been defeated, many GOP voters would have stayed home in November. This is a lesson for us in California, and the nation, GOP voters have had enough of Republicans acting like Democrats. Our candidates need to stand for GOP principles, then vote and govern that way once in office.
No longer will GOP voters settle for, "well at least they have a "R" after their name." There is a revolt going on in GOP ranks and it is moving across the nation.

Brian Bilbray who was in congress in the 1990s was a major person behind fence at the border, getting after employers who hire illegals, he may not be a 100% R conservative but can trust on the most important issues facing us now.
The R conservative running against him has a business dealing with Cuba, etc. He doesn't stand a chance but those who consider him the most conservative (but really isn't) will take votes away from Bilbray and put Liberal Democrat Busby in office. If she wins in July no way for getting her out in Nov.
Say hello speaker Palosi. I am conservative down the line but would rather have moderate conservative Bilbray than
the Conservative who does business with Cuba.
It's my observation that conservatives will put up with loads of crap as long as the person doling it out has an R after their name.

GREAT - I hope this happens more and more often in the primaries- so we can get the RINO's out before the main election.
We have had a stong movement going on in WNY and unseated some in the primaries here last time. There is an organization called Primary Challenge and it is working wonders.
The thing to remember is how important it is to get rid of them in the PRIMARIES instead of losing to democraps in the main election. Also only about 1/10th of the people who usually vote will vote in primaries- VERY SMALL NUMBERS- in my little district only 32 people voted in the last primaries. That's THIRTY-TWO ~!!
One good conservative who can get his freinds and family to vote in primaries can unseat a RINO.

True,thats why I would stick with a RINO. It's a lesser of two evils thing. Put the RINO in and when his term is up vote in a real conservative, IF their is one available.
The Cubans are more conservative because they escaped from a communist country.
Here in San Diego the Mexicans are Liberal. The Dems are registering them big time at the rallys here.

When we put up a RINO, it gives the liberals two shots to win the seat. The worst part of that is that at least one of them is using our resources to advance the leftist agenda.
I wouldn't worry too much. Allen is still keeping his powder dry. BTW, we're going to have to consider giving him some money, at this stage it's all about whether they think they have enough money to run.

I misinterpreted it, I thought it meant the "new moronity" were the ones voting out the RINOs.

If it were only a punch and only 8 hours a day, I might agree, but it's not. It's more like a sucker punch and a kick to the groin and a knife in the back 12 to 16 hours a day.
And when these 'republicans' vote for the leftist crap, it perpetuates the notion that conservatives are exremists because the 'moderate republicans' get it. It gives the left political cover for their anti freedom policies.
Worse than just a little mistreatment that you think that we can endure for a while, we are slowly committing suicide by electing them. And worse yet is the fact that we are funding the advance of the leftist agenda with our money.
It puts him on the side of liberalism, and it should not be forgotten easily.
