National Geographic is pretty liberal.

Don't look for them to place blame on The Butcher of Waco...

I think the slant will be the usual one. They set themselves on fire and Clinton and Reno and Hillary are heroes.

Will there be a mention of Weasley Clark's involvement?

The end run around the posse comitatus act?

Janet sold herself out as a "pawn". Her Florida run was a brutal reminder how much Bubba loved her!!

Probably along the lines of "they deserved to die"... never mind the melted children.

Funny, the FBI kills 80 Americans, and the MSM cheers them on, and helps with the cover up. The Marines allegedly kill 20 "civilians" (many of which, but not all, where probably terrorists or active supporters of them), who at the very least covering for terrorists, by not reporting the IED many of them had to know about, and it's a national disgrace.

Of course if the MSM has their way, NG won't be allowed to cover the story in 13 years, they'll be lucky if they are just renamed "Islamic National Geographic" and get to cover all the wrongs done to the Muslims since the 7th century. With discoveries of new "massacres" of Muslims by Infidels on a monthly basis. More likely they'll find themselves suddenly lighter and shorter.

The whole raid was set up as a "photo op." The ATF wanted to show gun owners being led from a house in handcuffs. They'd been watching too many episodes of COPS and wanted to have their own action film clips. They killed all of those people because they wanted to make the execution of the search warrant into a media event. That's the real root cause that too many people refuse to acknowledge.

Bill, you nailed it for sure. It was indeed supposed to be as you say, a "photo op" for the ATF. It was also supposed to be a bone to the Brady Bunch and "send a msg" to all the pro gun people out in the heartland that hey, this "could be you" if you don't straighten up. I still say Butch should be tried (and convicted) for murder but it will never happen.

I watched "Rules of Engagement" a few months ago, and just read, "Waco, an Investigation". Wonder if NG will show the gunshots from the FLIR Films?

"...and Clinton and Reno and Hillary are heroes."

And don't forget the Treasury Secretary, the late Lord Bentsen, who received great reviews from more than a couple of FReepers recently.

The other day I heard that one of the guys who was at Waco was just released from prison the other day.

Does anyone know what in the world he was charged with?
Unless they have clear evidence that he was involved in the gunfighting what did he do?

One, Paul Fatta got 15 years for something, trouble was he was away at Austin at a gunshow when the raid began.

It wasn't simply the BATF. Clinton instigated it personally. He was shopping around for a photo op between the time he was elected and when he took office.

I would like to remind everyone that of the 80 or so persons killed at Waco about 20 were less than 18 months old. They were real baby killers at work that day paid for by your and my tax dollars.
