I thought he signed it only for that fellow that wrote his kiss butt book to read, not for release to the general public, but only a select person.

It's his despicable record as a civilian traitor that is important.

He was not a civilian when he went to Paris to "negotiate" a "peace treaty" aka a surrender, with the enemy. He was a 27 y/o punk who had no official standing or right to negotiate anything with the enemy, on behalf of the USA.

Still laying out the smokescreen, huh?

All sKerry ever needed to do was fully release his entire military jacket to the public, not just a limited release of a few pages to 3 friendly reporters.

Until his complete records are made public, which only he can do by signing a SF 180 and submitting it, not to the Naval Department, but to the National Personnel Records Center in St. Louis, this controversy will dog him, as it should have during his entire senatorial carreer.

Just release your complete records, Johnny, George Bush did before the election.

WHY WON'T YOU???????

Wade Sanders served as Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Navy under President Bill Clinton

Did Sanders "disappear" the NCIS report on Winter Soldiers?

Statement of Senator Dianne Feinstein
in Support of Californians Vic Fazio and Wade Sanders
as Members of the BRAC Commission
January 14, 2005
pdf version

Washington, DC -- House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi has recommended two Californians -- former Congressman Vic Fazio and Wade Sanders -- to President Bush for nomination to the Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) Commission.

The Commission is charged with making recommendations for the realignment or closure of military installations in the United States. By law, the President and the Democratic Leader of the House must consult on one of the nine nominations to the Commission. President Bush must nominate members of the commission by March 15, 2004. All nominations must be confirmed by the Senate.

Following is Senator Dianne Feinstein’s (D-Calif.) statement:

“Let me express my strong support for former Congressman Vic Fazio and Wade Sanders as members of the Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) Commission. Congressman Fazio and Mr. Sanders are both highly qualified candidates who would ensure that California is well represented on the BRAC Commission.

Congressman Fazio distinguished himself as a member of the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Military Construction during his two decades of service in the U.S. Congress. And, as Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Navy under President Clinton, Wade Sanders has extensive knowledge of military transformation issues and worked on previous BRAC rounds.

Ensuring Californian representation on this commission is critical. California was hit hard in the past four BRAC rounds. Since 1988, California has lost 29 bases and an estimated 93,000 jobs. We shouldered 60 percent of the net personnel cuts and lost more jobs than all other states combined.

California should not once again be asked to bear a disproportionate share of the burden. That’s why it is so important for California to have one of these men as its voice on the Commission.”

He still hasn't released his 180.....unredacted please

He has, just not to the "little people". Only to three of his best friend in the Dino Media, who can pick and choose what to report, how to summarize, and even make things up that aren't in there.

Now we know who kissed the boo-boos on John Kerry's ass after all the rice was removed.

But, come on, still kissing it after 35 years?

Well I heard he SIGNED his form 180. He just hasn't sent it in.

Don't know if he sent it in or not. At least one of the three reporters he signed if for release to (actually "them", since the signed 3 of them, very poorly filled out. To the point where if it weren't JFnK it would be sent back for re-accomplishment.) The 180 doesn't automatically grant anyone access, unless the filer wants to do so. Kerry did not choose to do so, pretty much solid evidence that there is something in there he wants hidden. What other motive could there be for not releasing the records to all comers?

Anyone have any info about military.com ? I have been on their daily email list for over two years now, and I sweared that at least fifty-percent of the emails are anti-war.

I would say 2/3 actually..

I didn't know they awarded Silver Stars so fast. Wade says they pinned it on days after the event. If so, then they were handing them out like candy.

Sanders tries to capitalize on the well-earned respect and reputation associated with Admiral Zumwault and his good name. Surely the fact that Kerry's SS was awarded and presented by the Admiral himself testifies to its legitimacy? Surely to question Kerry's SS is to besmirch the honor of the Admiral himself?

Under normal circumstances, perhaps. But Sanders neglects to point out that, at the time, the Admiral was deeply involved in shepherding and supporting his fledgling PCF concept...river interdiction. It is more than understandable that he was eager to support the morale of his newly tasked crews...and to the career military, one major element in enhancing both morale and esprit de corps were and are military awards and commendations. Was he a bit less circumspect than he should have been in his haste to "support" his troops and, tangentially and somewhat self-servingly, his new mission concept? Perhaps so, but his actions and motivations were understandable and above reproach.

Undaunted by the word of one of the most revered naval commanders of any era, the Swift Boat Veterans for truth, and others without principle, continue to attack Kerry's medal...

Wade Sanders

Among those "without principle", according to Mr. Sanders, is James Zumwault...co-signer (ex officio) of the original Swiftee letter to John Kerry "in memory of Elmo Zumwalt, Sr. and Elmo Zumwalt, Jr, his father and brother."

James Zumwault knows something about "principles" and needs no tutorial from the likes of Wade Sanders.
