Please see post 107. Reagan was dealing with a democratic House and Senate.

Funny how the media ignores this race.

There was a fairly prominent story in the Houston Chronicle this morning about this race. Of course, their spin was about how this was bad for Republicans, but when a Utah House race makes front page of the Houston paper, that's not ignoring it.

Then it must be the absentee numbers, especially since it hasn't changed since I checked it before dinner.

I have often heard that Ronald Reagan said that amnesty was the worst mistake he ever made.

And you want to repeat it?

Parts of the district goes into Nevada.

Congressional districts don't cross state lines ever.

Because he supports the Senate scamnesty just like Cannon does.

No, Cannon doesn't support the Senate scam plan.

I have never seen numbers come in so slow. There must be some kinks in the system

No he was not. Reagan had a GOP Senate in 1986 and a working majority in the House with the Bole Weevil Dems.

They've got new results and it's still 55% to 41%.

Talk about gerymandering a district. Couldn't even take the botom state line. How may people could live in that strip (which incidentally is the only part of Utah I have ever been to. Spent one night in St George (?) 21 years ago).

The Senate in 1986 was with the GOP.

I guess Reagan never heard of the veto option.

A RINO like Cannon.
