She is planning on eating nothing but McDonald's for two months!!

I do not know which would be worse.

From what I've seen, she could use at least three months. Maybe four. While she's at it, a face transplant would be helpful too.

According to this article from Slate, even Gandhi never lasted past 21 days. Though 60 days is supposed to be doable for a healthy adult.

But I’m sure she will cheat or come up with an excuse to call it off.

When this fast was first announced a week or so ago, she said it would be an "open-ended" hunger strike.

Open-ended definition:
1. Not restrained by definite limits, restrictions, or structure.
2. Allowing for or adaptable to change.
3. Inconclusive or indefinite: “faintly bemused and uneasily open-ended about the whole horrible business” (Charles Michener).
4. Allowing for a spontaneous, unstructured response: an open-ended question.

Hunger strike definition:
A voluntary fast undertaken as a means of protest, as by a prisoner.
