If you re-read what I said -- I was specifically referring to the Church in my statement. If you want to beat up on me for fun, have at it, but at least read what I say before you accuse me of saying something I didn't say. Here is what I said in my first post, here, on the subject.
According to reports during Vincente Fox's visit there last month, the church is a huge supporter of illegal immigration
As you can see, I said "the church" -- the subject of the article we are discussing -- not the Mormon people who were discussed in many previous discussions over the past few weeks.
That was me Tex. I know it's difficult but try to keep your Cannon haters straight.
So which issue is it that lost the election for Jacob?
Was it:
A.. The Bush/GOP support of Cannon?
b.. The non-issue of illegal immigration?
c.. The LDS "get the voter out" campaign?
d.. Jacob is a kook who believes in Satan and gambled (once)
e.. Cannon spending more than three times on his campaign Jacob.
Because is you take all those issues that even you pointed out had an effect on the outcome of this election, then each would have an approximate 1% effect.
So therefore your "illegal immigration referendum" would have only had a 1% effect on this election....and we can all see that that is complete bullspit.
